00:10:44the security arrangement that we are seeing. it's
00:10:48emerging security arrangement. i don't think this will be or these
00:10:52three will be the last countries that will be part of. arrangement
00:10:55because Iran war has
00:10:58definitely changed lot of ground
00:11:02realities, the security environment
00:11:05has changed radically and
00:11:09certainly it has actually forced many countries in
00:11:13the region to recalibrate their own national security
00:11:17strategy. In the past, their main stay
00:11:20for security umbrella was the United States, but now we see
00:11:24that "it may may be Saudi Arabia which is the
00:11:28key player or Kuwait or other countries in the
00:11:31region, all them are showing interest in different ways in
00:11:35engaging with countries like Pakistan, which is the only
00:11:39nuclear power in the world which is Muslim
00:11:42and also have the battle hearded military, so
00:11:46this pact makes it very unique combination of three
00:11:50powers that are in the region,
00:11:54one being..." rather to being having global implications, all them have,
00:11:58but I think Turkey and Pakistan have more global implications
00:12:02when it comes to military power, because Saudi
00:12:06Arabia is bringing its deep pockets,
00:12:10Turkey is bringing its military technology and progres
00:12:14and Pakistan is bringing to the table
00:12:17its military which is bettle hearted and
00:12:20proven itself time and again how
00:12:24effectively it can deal with crisis, whether it is at
00:12:27home or abroad, even though Pakistan has not played
00:12:31any such role an active military
00:12:35theater, besides being part the international
00:12:38peaceekeepers under the United Nations, but this is a completely
00:12:42different game and I think that this gives Pakistan very
00:12:46different place, so it has certainly
00:12:50advantages for Pakistan, it may have some risks for Pakistan as
00:12:54well, so I think... overall if you look at it, it's a landmark agreement and I
00:12:58i think that it will have far reaching
00:13:01implications and impact on the regional dynamics, the
00:13:05economic dynamics, the geostrategic dynamics
00:13:09of South Asia as well as the Middle East and
00:13:13beyond, because the world at large,
00:13:16international economy depends a lot on the
00:13:19hydrocarbon resources the middle east region and Saudi Arabia
00:13:23being the world's largest. hydrocarbon
00:13:27producer and second largest oil
00:13:30reserves country, the country which has the second largest oil reserves in the
00:13:34world, so so Saudi Arabia being at
00:13:38the center of it and it being signed in Mecca, certainly
00:13:42all these are very significant, so I think it's a very
00:13:44significant development, it's a landmark agreement
00:13:48and I don't think these three will be the last, I think there may be other
00:13:52countries in the region which may be thinking or
00:13:56rethinking their strategy as well when they are
00:13:59recalibrating their national security strategy in
00:14:02the face of new realities that are
00:14:06emerging out the war with
00:14:09Iran. Prime Minister of Pakistan
