00:20:05perhaps Mecca, which the hoothies have... denied, but a drone was

00:20:12Mecca, and given how this is the
00:20:15religious base for Muslims all around the world, that
00:20:19was extremely significant, and there were so many social media posts
00:20:23and outrage from the Saudi community that
00:20:26such a place would be targeted by the
00:20:30Houties, now over the past eight weeks, it's worth
00:20:34also saying that the Hutis have got this...
00:20:38um embargo on the west coast of Yemen and they have taken
00:20:42a hold there so they're making it impossible for the Saudis
00:20:46to export oil via the Babel Mandob straight. which is
00:20:50extremely narrow, much narrower than the straight of horms and so
00:20:54now the kingdom in terms of its oil exports is according to
00:20:58sources a deadlock position and uh

00:23:04most Americans disapprove the war in
00:23:07Iran, it would figure that he's not willing to
00:23:11get involved with another conflict, civil war in this
00:23:14region, that's my take on it, now um,
00:23:18what's it going to take for the US? intervene, well that really is the big
00:23:22question right now, and what I've seen journalistically is that the
00:23:25BBC, Sky News, they have not been reporting this
00:23:29story, they have not been live reporting this story, giving
00:23:33information, and I find that really strange,
00:23:36writers have reported what's occurred in terms of uh king
00:23:40Khalid airport, there was a storage fuel tanker that was struck
00:23:44and there was huge black flames going up in the air around
00:23:48midday today in Riad. Uh, we don't know, it hasn't yet
00:23:52been confirmed that that was a hoothy strike, so we can't say where that came
00:23:56from. What's it going to take for the US to get
00:23:59involved? Maybe some more negotiations with
00:24:02NBS to Trump himself, perhaps the
00:24:06Mecca defense agreement with Pakistan, Turkey
00:24:10and Saudi Arabia, perhaps there will be conversations there with leaders that will
00:24:14say, actually, we are now going to step this up, and
00:24:16Pakistani air forces are going to get in. to
00:24:20help defend Saudi Arabia, or perhaps it's
00:24:24soft power and it's coming to the table in terms of negotiation,
00:24:28and this is something that uh US
00:24:31politicians have been asking for, Marco Rubio has wanted
00:24:35negotiations, but they've been applying pressure
00:24:38via um taking over Iran's economy and making it
00:24:42very difficult for Iran so they must hopefully come to the table
00:24:46and discuss and come to terms perhaps back to the mou.
00:24:50but for now this is what is scary about the number of very important points
00:24:54that you've already mentioned in this particular take also santha i'll
00:24:58come back to you for the number of other aspects i want your understanding
00:25:01about i'll move to miku what's your
00:25:05understanding when we specifically look at the
00:25:08approach by president donald trump what do you
00:25:12think would trigger any sort of a military help or support on the part
00:25:16the us towards the kingdom with this tightening? the
00:25:20grip by the othis and that clearly is causing a huge
00:25:24disruption when it comes to the oil exports the
00:25:26kingdom. yes, thank you so much for having
00:25:30me first um on your show and it's very
00:25:34hard to say what uh can trigger a US
00:25:37response or intervention, because for
00:25:41now um as it was previously
00:25:44mentioned the US is in well is
00:25:47expecting the mid terms. "and we know that
00:25:51Trump has done nothing uh of what he
00:25:55he he promised to the people, like he he promes no more wars
00:25:59and foreign interventions, and yet here we are.
00:26:03uh the US being involved again in the middle east and not
00:26:06only, so for now it's very hard to
00:26:10say, because um, unless the
00:26:13crown prince keeps insisting and
00:26:17wait after the midterms, I don't
00:26:21believe that the US will interfere no matter what, but
00:26:25what what if there was some actor, for
00:26:29example the hootis that would have been acting
00:26:32against Israel, so do you think the US's
00:26:36response would have been pretty much similar to what it is right
00:26:40now as far as the support is concerned towards the
00:26:44allies? um, no, if the hoot is
00:26:48would have attacked Israel, for sure you would have the US
00:26:52military bomb, yemen non-stop,
00:26:55so for sure there is difference how the
00:26:58US reacts when an arab count
00:27:02is being b and it's an ally, we we know that
00:27:06Saudi is ally to the United States and when Israel
00:27:10is being threatened or bombed. Okay, so
00:27:14Sanenta, what's your understanding, had there been
00:27:18Israel in question, do you think the similar sort of an approach
00:27:22on the part of Trump administration? I
00:27:26find it just so ironic that it was
00:27:29Israel's call to the US to take... on this war of choice in
00:27:33Iran that did it really need to happen, that was all
00:27:37about the nuclear powers of Iran, Iran cannot have
00:27:41nuclear capability, here we are seven months
00:27:44into the war in Iran and the discussion of nuclear capability is not
00:27:48taking place. Having said that, let's a little
00:27:52proceed a little further when we specifically talk about the the
00:27:56recent developments that have actually happened, I want your
00:27:59understanding uh, firstly... yours when it comes
00:28:03to China approaching Iran in
00:28:07order to urge them to restraint hoothies, do you think that sort of
00:28:11an intervention could be of any use? and also there are
00:28:14reports that suggest that there has
00:28:18been a contact established between the US and Houties,
00:28:22US asking Hutis to restrain themselves, do you think any the
00:28:26intervention out these two could be workable at the
00:28:29moment? I certainly hope so and do
00:28:32believe that the China call to Iran is extremely
00:28:36positive, we know that Iran and China have
00:28:40relationships, we cannot verify 100% what goes on, but there is
00:28:44strongly believed that Iran, well we know that Iran sells a lot of its
00:28:48oil to China, and there is the belief, there is there are those who
00:28:52report that China um has sent
00:28:56weapons to Iran and is involved in sort
