00:00:30resolutions have to be violated, how many more children have to be
00:00:34annihilated? this is not a war,
00:00:35it is systematic genocide, but whatever it
00:00:38of try, palestine will never
00:00:42of die,
00:00:43palestine,
00:00:48of
00:00:53of hello, i'm chris williamson and this is palestine
00:00:56declassified where we focus on the international struggle to lib
00:01:00palestine and expose Israel's efforts to manipulate the political class
00:01:03and corporate media. In today's show, we'll be examining the
00:01:07implications
00:01:08of the national security state threats act,
00:01:11of which is just been introduced
00:01:12by the British government. The home secretary Shabana Mahmoud wasted
00:01:16no time using the powers contained in the act to criminalize support
00:01:20for the Islamic Revolutionary guard core, which is now punishable by up
00:01:24to 14 years in prison,
00:01:26and the new prime minister Andy Burnam posted a statement on social media.
00:01:30on the 13th of July, welcoming Mahmoud's decision, and is kept
00:01:34her on as home secretary in his new cabinet. Mahmoud also
00:01:37designated the elusive and probably non-existent Islamic movement
00:01:41of companions
00:01:45e of the right, which conveniently emerged few months ago to take
00:01:47a responsibility for series of questionable incidents across Europe. So our
00:01:50introductory report today outlines what this new legislation will mean
00:01:54in practice. The British government has
00:01:57designated the Islamic Revolution. Guard score as
00:02:01of a banned organization on the new legislation rush through
00:02:05of parliament in days. The
00:02:07of National Security State Threats Act,
00:02:09of 2026, introduces designation
00:02:13power, allowing the home secretary to
00:02:16a target alleged foreign state-backed organization, creating
00:02:20new criminal offenses for supporting or assisting them.
00:02:23These offenses including supporting, assisting
00:02:27of or obtaining benefits from designated body, carry
00:02:30penalties of up to 14 years in
00:02:32of prison. In a written statement to parliament on July the 13th,
00:02:362026, home secretary Shabana Mahmoud
00:02:40outlined that support for designated body
00:02:44ranging from expressing a positive opinion to providing
00:02:48active assistance will be a criminal offense.
00:02:51However, the
00:02:52of law specifies that merely holding or sharing a view is
00:02:56not automatically a crime, unless it meets. certain
00:03:00statutory
00:03:02of threshholds. These are in
00:03:03of particular expressing the opinion with intent to support or in the
00:03:07course of building material support. It should be noted
00:03:11that the IRGC is only part
00:03:13of the military
00:03:14of the Islamic Republic. The IRGC reportedly has
00:03:18around 190,000 active personnel, while the
00:03:22Iranian army, the Artes has some
00:03:25420,000.
00:03:27It will not be legal to voice support for the...
00:03:30of Artesh or indeed for the Islamic Republic of Iran under this
00:03:34move, given that the IRGC is not active in the
00:03:38UK, the purpose of this move is plainly to suppress
00:03:42questioning of UK government complicity in the genocide in
00:03:45Gaza, and to ensure that British public opinion does not
00:03:49shift further towards the Islamic Republic of Iran as
00:03:52of the leading anti-emperalist nation in the
00:03:55of world. The other supposedly Iran-linked group
00:03:58designated is call the Islamic movement of
00:04:02companions
00:04:02of the right. The government claims that the IRGC
00:04:06quote almost certainly directed and quote
00:04:10attacks attributed to the group, so the government is not
00:04:13even completely sure that there is a link
00:04:16a between the group and the IRGC. In fact it
00:04:20is perfectly clear that the IRGC has no
00:04:23of role in the
00:04:24of activities
00:04:25of the hi. One reason for that is that
00:04:28of this group does not exist. It is transparently
00:04:31false flag
00:04:33of organization set up most
00:04:35of probably by the Musad as part
00:04:36of the strategic aim to have the IRGC
00:04:39prohibited.
00:04:41of Ironically, there is power to dedesignate an
00:04:44organization which that organization can avail
00:04:48itself of. Obviously, an organization that does not
00:04:52exist is not able to undertake such a
00:04:54of challenge. The masad
00:04:56a provides the dramatic terror attacks and the political push from
00:05:00prescription comes from a long list
00:05:05of of their assets in the of UK, the board of deputies, the Jewish leadership council, the community securities trust,
00:05:09the national juis assembly, labor and
00:05:12of conserv relatives friends of Israel and the zinanis funded Henry
00:05:15Jackson Society. Yet more evidence the
00:05:19domination of Zianist interest in UK
00:05:22politics. Our guest contributor today
00:05:25is the highly respected author and journalist Evan Ridley
00:05:29who's reported from conflict zones all over the world. She joined
00:05:33the global sumtilla last year to take humanitarian aid to
00:05:37Gaza, but she was abducted
00:05:39by the Israeli military after her boat was illegally seized in international.
00:05:42waters. She was then taken to the Zionist colony where she was
00:05:46subjected to brutal and degrading treatment for several days before being
00:05:50deported, so I'm delighted that she's been able to join us on the show
00:05:53today. Our resident expert in the UK's leading scholarly critic of
00:05:57Israel, David Miller also joins me as usual. He's a co-director
00:06:01the Lobby Watch Dog Spinwatch and a senior research fellow at the Center for
00:06:05Islam and Global Affairs, Istanbul Zayen University. Welcome to the
00:06:09show. David, um, the government. hasn't
00:06:13actually prescribed the IRGC, has it? I mean, if that's right, I mean,
00:06:16why is that do you think? Well, it's a very weird thing,
00:06:20isn't it? On one hand, it's it's said to be uh,
00:06:24similar to prescription under the terrorism act, but it's not
00:06:28prescription under the terrorism act, and it's very curious,
00:06:31especially given this other organization that's been put in there,
00:06:35Haya, HJ, to give
00:06:39it its acronym, and because... that is said
00:06:43to be a terrorist organization and could have been just
00:06:47prescribed like uh palestine action for example
00:06:51and no one would have said anything about that, but what's happened here is that they've
00:06:55got this new power which is to uh to to
00:06:58deal with what they call state threats and the they can't
00:07:02really uh although it has been done in other countries they can't really
00:07:06prescribe the IRGC as a terrorist organization because
00:07:10it's it's state forces there is other. state forces
00:07:13on the list of prescribed organizations, al-qaeda or
00:07:17Heizbollah or the IRA, none them were state forces
00:07:21and so that's part the reason they find that difficult,
00:07:24they've already gone through enough trouble, I think probably on the palestine action
00:07:28prescription, and they wanted to find a different way of doing it, and of course that also
00:07:32allows them to say that this uh HJ
00:07:36organization is actually uh being
00:07:40directed, that's the word they use, directed by the IRGC uh,
00:07:44which is almost certain, says the home secretary, almost
00:07:48certain, it's not quite certain, but almost certain, so you've got this
00:07:52bizarre uh new legislation which is
00:07:55enacted and designed these two organizations, and it also allows them
00:07:59to to introduce powers which are more
00:08:03extensive than under the terrorism act in
00:08:06particular to do with
00:08:08um having giving material support and receiving money from
00:08:13and all those kinds of things, which of course is part the aim
00:08:16to uh to start to say
00:08:18that there are organizations in this country which are effectively acting for the IRGC,
00:08:22which of course is a nonsense? no,
00:08:25absolutely, and
00:08:27I mean the IRGC, I mean he isn't even active in the United
00:08:31Kingdom, so so what do
00:08:32you think this is all about?
00:08:36well,
00:08:37you know, I'm a bit of a pragmatist and
00:08:39and so let's be pr. matic about this,
00:08:43because the working class of this country doesn't have the
00:08:47luxury of getting swept up in westminster's foreign
00:08:51dramas, this new
00:08:54legislation has come into to to bun the
00:08:58irgc, but if you strip
00:09:02away the the wording and look at it through a
00:09:06cold legal lens, this irgc
00:09:09ban is nothing but
00:09:13politically motivated establishment
00:09:16theater, and it's the British worker who will end up
00:09:20paying the price for the diplomatic fallout,
00:09:24you know, if Lenin were alive today, he'd be looking at Whitehall and
00:09:27he'd say that this is classic capitalist
00:09:31distraction when a government is failing its own people,
00:09:35it manufactures a foreign bogieman, and of course
00:09:38we're just in between uh...
00:09:42crossing over from uh Starmer into
00:09:46where the king the north as Andy
00:09:50burnam likes to be known,
00:09:52so we've you know,
00:09:56unfortunately we've still got shabana Mahmod in the
00:10:00home office, so her legislation
00:10:03is carrying on, and
00:10:07so this this IRGC ban
00:10:11is uh is... but the thing is the
00:10:14IRGC does not exist in the
00:10:18UK, so what they've done effectively is
00:10:22bann a ghost, they don't have officers. in
00:10:25Newcastle or Glasgow or the community
00:10:29hubs in Birmingham and
00:10:31Manchester, um, so I guess
00:10:35if if they were active in this country
00:10:38and that they and they were going to um
00:10:42carry out criminal activities, they'd have
00:10:46to uh employ by
00:10:50proxy criminal gangs and
00:10:53uh of course, It all sounds dramatic, doesn't it, passing
00:10:57this um grand decree under the
00:11:01national security act, um, it makes Shaban
00:11:05and Mahmoud look tough on defense,
00:11:09and uh, of course, they're
00:11:12completely ignoring the real crisis in our
00:11:15communities, which is the collapse the NHS,
00:11:19the total lack of affordable housing, and the
00:11:22decay of our industrial town. so it sounds
00:11:26tough on tv, but to your ordinary working
00:11:30class families, it's completely
00:11:33hollow, and what do you make the fact ivon, that
00:11:37it's it's a so-called labor government that's that's pursuing this
00:11:40incredibly authoritarian legislation, this is just the latest
00:11:44iteration, isn't it? well, this is not the
00:11:48the labor that recognize from my teens when
00:11:51i was - the
00:11:55yellow card as it was then
00:11:59uh uh you know when I when I joined labor as
00:12:02teenager, but there's I don't
00:12:06know what, well this is an entirely new
00:12:09program,
00:12:10you know what's happened to labor, but there's a sheer
00:12:14elite arrogance um running
00:12:18through this this party and it's
00:12:22no longer recognizable and on
00:12:25the wider stage,
00:12:28you know, the diplomatic self-harm that this
00:12:32is doing, um, is untold, the
00:12:35IRGC is an official branch of
00:12:39sovereign nation's armed forces and by
00:12:43branding them a hostile threat,
00:12:46Westminster hasn't just banned a group, they've
00:12:50deeply insulted a state, and for what to
00:12:54play the big. man on the world stage, you
00:12:57know, teron has already called the move
00:13:00unlawful, but you bears the the the brunt
00:13:04of of this retaliation, it won't be the labour
00:13:07politicians in downing street or the billionaires in
00:13:11Mayfair, and if this escalates into another
00:13:15conflict, it's the sons and daughters the British working
00:13:19classes who will be handed rival and sent to
00:13:22fight another rich man's war. in the middle east,
00:13:26so know this is so far away from the
00:13:30anti-war labor that I joined, it
00:13:34it's terrible, yeah, absolutely, I mean, Smedley
00:13:37Buttler wrote a little booklet back in 1935, which was
00:13:41called the war is racket, and absolutely sums it up, and I think you
00:13:45kind of very eloquently explained,
00:13:48you know, why, why so wrong the direction that this government is is
00:13:52taking us in, but David, I mean, how does legislation
00:13:56relate to previous attempts to censor political speech
00:13:59then? well, I just put in mind
00:14:03when reading the legislation, especially section
00:14:0717a and 17 b, which have the form of
00:14:10language which says that you not allowed to express an opinion which
00:14:13might support or might be seen as supportive
00:14:17the organization, it put me in mind of course the broadcasting
00:14:21ban, the so-called broadcasting ban introduced in october
00:14:251988, which had the objective of making sure that Shin
00:14:29Fein, legal political party, was no longer interviewed on the
00:14:33broadcast media, and it was very effective in doing that, as our studies
00:14:37at
00:14:37the time showed, the appearances by shin on British
00:14:41Network News declined by more than half in the year after the band was
00:14:44introduced, and then of course it fell into some disrepute because the
00:14:48the emergence the the peace process, but the language in
00:14:52that uh that notice as it was, then was very very
00:14:56similar and and
00:14:57the the appearance the way in which
00:14:59was it was enacted is very similar because it was also a
00:15:02designated notice which was introduced by the then home
00:15:06secretary Douglas Hard uh to say that there there are these organizations and
00:15:10they are now not no longer were able to be heard on uh
00:15:14broadcast media so it's very similar to that it's also very similar of course
00:15:18uh as we sort of mentioned already to the terrorism act which has similar
00:15:22prevision about supporting or inviting some support for
00:15:26specific organizations, so it's part the the
00:15:29generalized position the the British state, which they start off
00:15:33by saying you're not allowed to support a particular organization and
00:15:37then..." as is the case with the terrorism act of
00:15:402000, the some 19 years later they had to update
00:15:44this and add in the stuff about uh views or
00:15:48opinions which might be seen as supportive, which of course tries
00:15:51to expand the perview the the power even further because they've
00:15:55not been able to lock up lots of people and i think that's that's the difficulty for them
00:15:59that actually this not only is the
00:16:03IAGC not active in this country, not only is the
00:16:06HJ not really an existing organization,
00:16:10but but nobody is going to be supporting them, it's
00:16:13ridiculous, it's like they think if you say something positive
00:16:17words about ham and i that that somehow is going
00:16:21to uh breach the law, but but it's plainly not, and if
00:16:24you say for example, just set out them briefly that what kind of
00:16:28statements are going to be made illegal by this legislation,
00:16:32well so um, it's the
00:16:36IRGC and this... alleged terrorist organization, now
00:16:40there is nobody in the country who supports this
00:16:43terrorist because it doesn't
00:16:45exist set up effectively
00:16:49by the mossad, so there's nobody's going
00:16:51to be supporting that, the support the existence of that organization is of course the
00:16:55marsad, they're never going to say that publicly, so that that's one
00:16:58thing, the other thing is is is the IRC, people think
00:17:02that the IRGC is the Iranian military, but it's not, there
00:17:06are perhaps 9000 active personnel in the
00:17:10IRGC uh, whereas in the the Iranian military, the
00:17:13Iranian army, navy and air force, they are tesh, there are some
00:17:17400 thous, so twice the personnel that you've got in the
00:17:21IRC, so it's not going to be legal to say, I
00:17:24support the Rtesh or victory to the RT in their
00:17:28conflict with the US and and the zionists, it will
00:17:32be will be illegal to say I support the IRGC, but
00:17:35but the IRGC only a small part the
00:17:39military forces of Iran and of course there are many other parts of the
00:17:43Iranian government system which which are not now banned, but of
00:17:47course people will be skeptical and weary about saying
00:17:51positive things about the Islamic Republic as result of this, it will give have a sort of
00:17:55chilling factor, no indeed indeed and
00:17:58I mean you're a journalist, I mean are
00:18:00we likely to see the BBC another mainstream journalists falling file of this
00:18:04legislation, well I think... the
00:18:08BBC and and lot the mainstream
00:18:11media have a long distance
00:18:14relationship with journalism, I
00:18:18do not recognize um the so-called
00:18:21journalism of
00:18:242026, you know when I trained as a
00:18:28journalist back in 1976, 50 years ago
00:18:32coming up uh next month
00:18:35and... the what what is
00:18:39standing for journalism today is
00:18:41is uh again you know
00:18:45I just don't recognize it um we seem to be a
00:18:49downward trajectory and uh
00:18:53and and journalism is is just part part of it you
00:18:57know let's be honest um
00:19:00the this
00:19:03legislation um is is mean
00:19:08and the police already have a
00:19:12whole arsenal of legal weaponry uh
00:19:16to use to um enforce bans
00:19:20and prescriptions of of groups that the
00:19:23government deem dangerous, but
00:19:27um, as I say, the IRGC, it
00:19:30isn't even in Britain, it's not
00:19:32operating,
00:19:36um, to see BBC - not like
00:19:39to see BBC
00:19:41uh um journalists then being being hold off
00:19:44uh um to be prosecuted by this legislation by the sounds of things
00:19:48and Nivon, but but David, I mean just remind our
00:19:52viewers will you how how you discovered that the alleged terror group that
00:19:55Shabana Mahmoud has just prescribed doesn't really exist, I mean you referred it
00:19:59earlier by its Arabic initials, i gave
00:20:03the angle size name of it in the in the introduction, but you found that it doesn't
00:20:07even... exist, just just remind - we covered this, didn't we on the show a while
00:20:11ago, but for those that didn't see that, just to remind us about it how you, yeah we did,
00:20:14mean this is an organization which people sort of think started
00:20:18when the four ambulances were were put set on fire
00:20:22in in goldest green north london, but actually the
00:20:25organization was created um some weeks
00:20:29before that and uh it launched a number of attacks according to
00:20:33uh the telegram account which is supposed to be organized by the uh
00:20:37the the organization, those attacks were in Greece, in
00:20:41France, in the Netherlands, in
00:20:44Belgium, and some of those
00:20:46attacks did happen in the sense that the...
00:20:50were small incendiary devices left outside a school du
00:20:54school and uh two synagogues i think -
00:20:58but they didn't cause much damage not so much as a broken paint of
00:21:02glass some scorching on the door the the the
00:21:05down pipe on the outside the school was slightly charred so and
00:21:09then so some them did happen there were there were events that happened and
00:21:13others or simply things which were claimed by the
00:21:17supposed organization which might look like they were attacks, it was an example
00:21:21of of a car being satellite in the
00:21:25Jewish district uh of of um one the
00:21:28Belgian towns and
00:21:32it it wasn't anything to do with anything, it was it was
00:21:34a robbery and the car wasn't in the Jewish district, it
00:21:38was set on fire after
00:21:39the robbery and it belonged to a Moroccan woman who was of course muslim, so there was
00:21:43nothing at all to do, but
00:21:44it was opportunistically claimed by the organization
00:21:48as part of this effort to to encourage the idea that there was such an
00:21:52organization, now it's plein from seeing all those events,
00:21:56and then of course the ineffectual events that happened in in the UK, which
00:22:00were more significant than the ones on the continent to be fair, this is
00:22:04this is a non-organization, it's an organisation which which now has the right
00:22:07under British law to apply through its
00:22:11lawyers for deprescription, but of course you can't
00:22:14apply to deprescribe an organization that doesn't exist because
00:22:18it's and has no member. so it's a completely other worldly situation, it's
00:22:22perfectly clear that this is a false flag
00:22:26organization, fake front set up in the manner of many others
00:22:30that have been set up by the mossad, for example in Lebanon and in many
00:22:34other cases, so this is a this is crazy
00:22:37situation, it's really very revealing to see those
00:22:40words um home office saying that
00:22:44they they are almost certain that the
00:22:47IRGC is behind this organization.
00:22:49Yeah,
00:22:53no, absolutely, but Ivan, I mean it seems all the pressure unsurprisingly for this
00:22:57legislation has been from the zionist lobby, which rather reinforces
00:23:01the concerns, doesn't it about the level of zinist influence over our
00:23:04legislators? Well, we know that the
00:23:08zienist influence over our legislation,
00:23:11you know, even with the arrival of Andy Burnham,
00:23:15who himself is part the pro
00:23:18Israel lobby group. friends of Israel, more
00:23:22than half the cabinets are tainted or
00:23:25stained um through membership of pro
00:23:29Israeli lobby groups and
00:23:32but
00:23:33you know going back to what David was saying, I'm just thinking the practical
00:23:37execution of of this new law
00:23:40creates an almost comedic logistical nightmare
00:23:44for the uh for the police, I mean under
00:23:48this 2 26 act, shouting a
00:23:52pro-irgc slogan
00:23:54is supposed to
00:23:55be fast track to jail cell, but what
00:23:59about your shouting uh, shouting it in
00:24:02farcy?
00:24:04you know, who's going to know?
00:24:06well indeed, yeah, no, absolutely. all things an absolute
00:24:09fast, absolutely right, of course, we we know that um,
00:24:13you know, pro palestinian demonstrators have been arrested for wearing headbands with
00:24:17arabic writing on it, which wasn't, advocating terrorism or
00:24:21anything, it's just, I mean, they kind of make the rules up as the as they go along. Sorry
00:24:25to get across you, Evan, but we're but we're really short of time and I just want to get David's
00:24:28thoughts about for the benefit of anyone who might not be aware, I mean Mossad,
00:24:32which is Israel's secret intelligence service, has a long history doesn't it of
00:24:36engaging in black ops and false flag, so just just give us a bit of background on that,
00:24:40David for the benefit of people who it may be persuaded to believe some of this nonsense which
00:24:44is being uh promoted in the media,
00:24:48yeah so look, the closest
00:24:51parallel to this ai organization
00:24:55is the fl f, the front for the liberation
00:24:59of Lebanon from foreigners, which was set up in in
00:25:03Lebanon by the Mossard, the
00:25:06the the idea came from the IDF but was set up by the Mossard and carried out number of
00:25:10car warmings throughout the 1980s and it was
00:25:14entirely ficticious group and and of course that's one
00:25:18the the techniques which they...
00:25:20abuses undercover terror
00:25:23groups are made to to uh to
00:25:27pursue provocations in particular areas, but of course let's remember also
00:25:30all the other false flags, the attacks
00:25:33that for example has documented in Iraq
00:25:37where he
00:25:38was him and his family were forced into
00:25:40leaving and going to to the colony because the
00:25:44attacks which the mossad launched in Iraq the same same as they did
00:25:48in the lavon af. in in
00:25:51Egypt operatives were hung
00:25:55by the neck till they were dead for that particular
00:25:58activity, so there's a long history of this, if you read any any the... books
00:26:02on the history of Mossard, including by
00:26:05ex Mossard people, they they all admit this,
00:26:09no indeed, and and very finally uh,
00:26:12Ivon, what can people do to change this
00:26:15legislation a
00:26:16in sentence? we
00:26:20have to protest and put pressure, um, I mean, speaking
00:26:24as a journalist uh,
00:26:27before, if I had any documents to do with
00:26:30Al-Qaeda, I would say... 'you know, I'm investigative journalist
00:26:34and this is part of my research for a book or for an
00:26:38article I'm writing, but under this 2026
00:26:42act, that nuance is tossed out the window,
00:26:46and if foreign correspondent gets an unredacted
00:26:50press release or an encrypted leak from an IRGC
00:26:53commander, they are technically retaining a material
00:26:57benefit which would be designated as a state threat,
00:27:01so totally short-sited and and
00:27:05and the entire Guardian's editorial board
00:27:08faces being locked up in prison if no indeed if
00:27:12this legislation continues - well they need
00:27:16to they need to stand up Evan um as I think you were saying we all
00:27:20do to resist this legislation this this move towards
00:27:23authoritarianism you know it's - it might not affect
00:27:27you people immediately um but ultimately I think we're all going
00:27:31to be - worse for this, so
00:27:34it might be um, it might be
00:27:36us today,
00:27:37but it could be you if you're watching tomorrow, so you really do need to put
00:27:41pressure on the government to change
00:27:43course, but
00:27:46I'm afraid that's all we got time for today, so I'd like to thank our guest Ivon Riddley and of course
00:27:50our resident expert David Miller, if you want to support the show, you can follow us
00:27:54on X, Facebook, Rumble and Telegram where we post regular clips and updates, and

00:28:09won't find in the corporate media. So until then, this is Chris Williamson
00:28:13saying bye for
00:28:14now.
00:29:05A new phase the Iran war has begun as
00:29:08missiles strike alliances fracture and pressure mounts
00:29:12in Washington, the question is no longer only who can win
00:29:16the next battle, but who can enjoy the war that
00:29:19follows?
00:29:27Is America facing another endless conflict and has
00:29:31Iran changed? The rules the battlefield. These and more
00:29:35on this edition of Iran
00:29:37today.
00:30:28The headlines, the secretary of Iran supreme National Security Council.
00:30:32says the strict
00:30:33of removes will not reopen until the US corrects its
00:30:36behavior and it stops threatening the Islamic Republic.
00:30:40Iranian president says Tehran took reciprocal action after the
00:30:44US violated the mou, stressing that the Islamic Republic will
00:30:48continue to defend its interests while pursuing
00:30:51diplomacy.
