00:00:46For months, Saudi Arabia and its American patron have behaved as
00:00:50though they had discovered the ultimate escape hatch from the consequences of
00:00:53war. Iran closes the
00:00:57of of straight of hormos, no problem. Saudi Arabia, we were told had the... east-west pipeline,
00:01:01millions of barrels of crude oil per day could simply bypass the
00:01:05Persian Gulf across the kingdom and sail out through
00:01:08Yanboa on the Red Sea. A neat little
00:01:12geopolitical work around, except apparently the work around has
00:01:15now been shattered. Saudi Arabia has announced the shutdown
00:01:19of its crucial east-west crew pipeline after multiple strikes
00:01:23targeted the facility. The very infrastructure that was supposed to
00:01:27give Muhammad bin Salman and Washington is... strategic alternative to
00:01:31Hormus has suddenly become another
00:01:33vulnerability, and the irony is almost too perfect. For
00:01:37years, Riyad invested billions of dollars in projecting the image of
00:01:41of modern, military protected, economically
00:01:45indispensable powerhouse. The message was simple, Saudi
00:01:49Arabia would always flow, Saudi infrastructure would
00:01:53always be secure, and Saudi Arabia would
00:01:55of always have an alternative, until it did
00:01:58not. news is closed, the
00:02:01of east-west pipeline is shut down, red sea exports are under
00:02:05increasing pressure and saudi oil
00:02:07a of production has plunched
00:02:09of dramatically, so much for the great bypass, but perhaps the
00:02:13most revealing part of this entire
00:02:15of spectacle is what comes next, enter Benjamin
00:02:19Netanyahu reportedly offering to step in and bomb Yemen and
00:02:22Iraq to help Saudi Arabia, think about that for
00:02:25moment, Muhammad bin
00:02:27of of a Salman of who has spent years presenting himself as the architect of new
00:02:31a Saudi Arabia, sovereign, powerful and independent is now watching
00:02:35Netanyahu offer Israeli entity bombs as a rescue package for the
00:02:38kingdom's collapsing oil routes. That is not
00:02:42sovereignty, that is geopolitical humiliation wrapped in expensive
00:02:46public relations, and the hypocrisy is
00:02:49breathtaking. Saudi Arabia spent years bombing Yemen,
00:02:52imposing devastating pressure on an already impoverished nation and
00:02:56participating in policies that brought suffering to millions of Yemen.
00:03:00now that Yemen has the capacity to impose a cost in return,
00:03:04Riyad suddenly needs others to come and fight its battles,
00:03:08first Washington, now perhaps Netanyahu, this is the
00:03:12uncomfortable truth for Muhammad bin Salman, you cannot spend years participating
00:03:16in the architecture of American aggression, bank role regional
00:03:19wars, imagine that geography can permanently protect you from
00:03:23consequences and then act shocked when the fire actually reaches your
00:03:27own pipelines,
00:03:29you now the straight over Moose was supposed to be bypassed. Instead, Saudi Arabia may
00:03:33be learning that
00:03:34in a regional war, there is no bypass
00:03:37around
00:03:48Saudi Arabia and its American allies believed that the east-west
00:03:51pipeline gave the kingdom a strategic escape route, should the straight
00:03:55of hormos ever become
00:03:58a inaccessible, but that
00:03:59of calculation is now... facing dramatic collapse, as hormos
00:04:02remains under pressure, the alternative red sea route is
00:04:06increasingly vulnerable, exposing how deeply Saudi Arabias
00:04:09economic security depends on regional order it can no
00:04:21Ali. now and I need to explain a bit to our viewers in the west
00:04:24what this means actually, because maybe they do not
00:04:28understand the strategic geography of what we're talking about, they
00:04:32have fully understood by now what the straight of Hormus is, but
00:04:36why is Saudi Arabia's east-west pipeline uh considered
00:04:40Washington and
00:04:41of Riyad's of most a important
00:04:41of alternative for keeping Saudi oil
00:04:45flowing and most importantly now that the pipeline itself has been hit
00:04:49and the oil flow has been interrupted uh maybe can we
00:04:53know how fundamentally does this change the uh
00:04:56strategic challenge for Saudi Arabia itself and
00:05:00wider allies, if you will,
00:05:02of a patrons of Saudi Arabia, first of all, we all know that the east-west pipeline
00:05:06exists since the late 80s,
00:05:10but the importance
00:05:12of the... of this route has been
00:05:15so important um after the events that
00:05:19took place in hormostrate, the
00:05:23saudis bragged about
00:05:25the their capability to export more than six million barrels
00:05:29of oil per day after
00:05:33the the closure the hormos
00:05:36straight, they were capable to do
00:05:39this and the rest the Persian. Arab
00:05:42states were unable to export their own
00:05:46oil, so now the Americans have been
00:05:50depending on the flow of those six or seven
00:05:53million barrels per day through the western ports of
00:05:57Saudi Arabia, through the Red Sea, through the zous
00:06:01canal and the Babelmandab straight. Right now,
00:06:05after the events in Yemen and the closure
00:06:08the Babel Mandib straight in face.
00:06:12the Saudi oil exports, it has
00:06:16been vital for the Americans and the Saudis that the
00:06:20flow remains through the zois canal
00:06:24after the
00:06:27the attacks on the the
00:06:30main pipeline
00:06:34station close to the Medina and
00:06:38Saudi Arabia, Saudi Saudis
00:06:41lost their... 6 million barrels per day
00:06:45exports per so
00:06:48it it's now as something devastating for the
00:06:52oil exporting industry in Saudi Arabia and it means
00:06:55that six million barrels per day are
00:06:59not being exported into the
00:07:02global uh energy market so this has
00:07:06to affect the the price start California woke up
00:07:10a 9.99 per gap. exactly, pretty first
00:07:14in its in its history, but there's also something important because Saudi Arabia has spent
00:07:18years investing heavily in the idea that its
00:07:22oil infrastructure can actually be protected because it has this
00:07:26powerful imperial power that helps it, the advanced
00:07:29western weapons, the military bases that were struck during the war against the Islamic
00:07:33Republic of Iran, and that they had the alternative route to what
00:07:37seems the major 20% the global
00:07:41export of oil that comes through. the straight of hormoos, yet we are now seeing this
00:07:45pressure simultaneously on the Persian Gulf and the west-east
00:07:48pipeline as well and the red sea shipping routes from the
00:07:52Ansarullah movement in Yemen, taking retaking if you
00:07:56will babel mantab rightly so as Yemanies that this does this
00:08:00demonstrate that the traditional US Saudi uh
00:08:04attempt to try and architecture uh this kind
00:08:07of security is falling apart and maybe never returning
00:08:11to what it want. was, well, I think that the
00:08:15um, the events proved that the
00:08:19Saudi American
00:08:21security infrastructure
00:08:25has collapsed since 2019,
00:08:29if we recall, in September
00:08:312019, the Yemenes
00:08:33attacked and
00:08:36Aramco, and they they were
00:08:40capable of disrupting the... production and
00:08:44the export of more than 6 million barrels per day
00:08:47after the attack, by then the
00:08:50Americans were like telling the saudis that we cannot
00:08:54do anything for you. Donald Trump himself went
00:08:57out and said,
00:08:58we are waiting for our Saudi allies to specify where the
00:09:02drones and the missiles originated
00:09:05from. That's impossible that the US didn't know where they originated.
00:09:09Yeah, I think there is similar stance. American
00:09:13stance right now, Washington is is
00:09:16expressing that they are incapable of doing
00:09:20anything to the Saudis after the attack on the eastwest
00:09:23pipeline. So I think that
00:09:27Saudis now are um
00:09:30getting how serious the Americans are in
00:09:34providing security, they are incapable of providing
00:09:38security to their own soldiers and bases in the region.
00:09:43so they cannot do the same to the saudis, that's why i think
00:09:47that's why we we see that saudis are going
00:09:50to turkey and
00:09:52pakistan and elsewhere to try to buy
00:09:55security, but in the end take their infrastructure, someone else is
00:09:59offering it though, ali someone else is offering because we read
00:10:03the zionist israely media saying that netanyahu the reports that he's
00:10:07offering to expand military action against both yemen and Iraq to
00:10:11support Arabia and uh Monday morning there was report
00:10:15from hom i'm not mistaken saying that it is Muhammad bin Salman who's
00:10:19seeking Israeli aid in this uh matter now what
00:10:22does this tell us about the
00:10:24uh uh emerging, it's not emerging, it has been always there, but especially right now,
00:10:28after what's been happening for the past three years, Gaza, Lebanon,
00:10:32Iran, the entire region, what does this tell us about the alignment
00:10:35between the uh Saudi American and Israeli entity, and what
00:10:39about the leader the Muslim Ummah, Muhammad bin Salman, putting
00:10:43his hand in the hands of a war criminal, an
00:10:45actual prosecuted war criminal in at the
00:10:49ICJ uh to help him rid
00:10:53his. interests against the Yemeni people who have been
00:10:57suffering under Saudi aggression and besiegement since
00:11:002015, what does this tell us about what's happening in the region? well,
00:11:04first of all, the Saudi leader knows well that
00:11:08in case he went into the zionis and
00:11:12ask for protection, it's going to be a big
00:11:16scandal for him because he is promoting himself
00:11:20and his father as the custodians the two holy
00:11:23places in Mekka and and we all know
00:11:27that the Yemenes during the alaqsa
00:11:31flood operation after it, when they started
00:11:35supporting the Palestinian people by shooting their
00:11:38hypersonic missiles into the zionist regime, they
00:11:42gained a very big
00:11:45popular support from the
00:11:49Yeminees and as well as the the whole arab
00:11:52public, so and... such a
00:11:55situation, if MBS goes into
00:11:59the Netanyahu government and asks
00:12:01for an official
00:12:05support in the face the Yeminies, it's going to
00:12:08be killer for him, I think,
00:12:11because the legitimacy of what the Saudis
00:12:15are are doing now is going to be reduced
00:12:19in face the events,
00:12:21because after all ' "the first
00:12:25enemy the arab public is the zionist regime, so
00:12:29you are going into the zinanis, the the enemy the palestinian
00:12:33people and the enemy the whole region and ask for
00:12:36support, this would erode what is left
00:12:40of legitimacy for the saudi regime, so it's
00:12:44a dangerous move that can be made by Muhammad
00:12:48bin Salman and also tells gravely about the dire situation
00:12:52that the Saudis are now facing exactly." when when they ch
00:12:56when they were challenged by the ansarullah resistance major
00:13:00problem, their major problem is that the Americans
00:13:03themselves tried with the Yemenes and failed and failed, exactly, so
00:13:07that tells us lot and we'll see what happens next, especially in the upcoming few days,
00:13:50In the space of just one week, yemen's armed forces and ansarullah have
00:13:53delivered developmentts whose significance extends far beyond the
00:13:57battlefield, placing renewed pressure on the American Saudi
00:14:01strategy across the Red Sea and the wider region. As Washington
00:14:05attempts to maintain military and economic control from the Persian Gulf to
00:14:08Babel Bandib, Yemen is demonstrating that the old assumption
00:14:12of uncontested American and Saudi dominance may no longer
00:14:16survive the realities emerging on the ground. More details in the following
00:14:20report. In the
00:14:24space. of just one week, Yemen's armed forces of Ansarullah have
00:14:28delivered series of developments that are rapidly reshaping the
00:14:32military and political map of West Asia. The significance the
00:14:36advanced words and control over strategic areas surrounding the
00:14:39port of Mokha goes beyond the battlefield itself.
00:14:43Mokha sits at one the most strategically sensitive gateways to the Red
00:14:47Sea and Babel Mandab, a maritime corridor connecting the
00:14:51Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean. Control over this geography is
00:14:55therefore not merely a Yemeny military achievement, it is message
00:14:58directed at the entire American Saudi Axis. For
00:15:02years, Saudi Arabia, backed by American military power, has attempted to
00:15:06impose its political will on Yemen through air strikes,
00:15:10blockades, proxies and economic pressure. Yet the latest
00:15:13developments have once again exposed the limits of that strategy. Hundreds
00:15:17of fighters aligned with the Saudi Led coalition reportedly
00:15:21surrendered with little resistance, while the Yemeny side them.
00:15:25strated that its objective is not endless internal
00:15:28conflict, but the defeat of foreign sponsored military projects
00:15:32inside Yemen. The larger picture is even more consequential
00:15:35as Washington. its pressure of war against the Islamic Republic of
00:15:39Iran and seeks to secure alternative energy and maritime
00:15:43routes, Yemen is demonstrating that Babel Mandib cannot be treated
00:15:47as an American controlled substitute for the straight of hormoz.
00:15:51In other words, the United States cannot simply squeeze Iran and the Persian
00:15:55Gulf while assuming that the Red Sea will remain permanently
00:15:59open, secure and obedient. That strategic
00:16:02illusion is collapsing. What we are witnessing increasingly
00:16:06resembles region. remontada against decades of American
00:16:10influence and military higem. From the Persian Gulf to
00:16:13the Red Sea, Washington is discovering that its military bases, naval
00:16:17deployments and regional alliances no longer automatically
00:16:21translate into political control, and Saudi Arabia faces
00:16:25equally uncomfortable reality. Riyad can either recognize that
00:16:29the era of imposing its form policy through American protection
00:16:33and military coersion is coming to an end, or continue escalating.
00:16:37until it risks losing what remains of its influence across the
00:16:41region. for Washington, the choices are becoming increasingly limited,
00:16:45a wider confrontation risks transforming regional pressure into a global
00:16:49economic crisis, yet retreat carries its own political
00:16:52consequences, exposing the limits of American power before
00:16:56allies and adversaries alike. Yemen's message therefore
00:17:00is larger than one battlefield. The region is changing and
00:17:04neither Saudi Arabia nor the United States of America. appears capable
00:17:08of stopping that change its old
00:17:11terms.
00:17:25studio. now let us begin by looking at the broader strategic significance
00:17:28of Ansarullah's recent military achievements,
00:17:32particularly around Mokha and the approaches to Babel Mandib
00:17:36straight to What extent has Yemen transformed from a country
00:17:40that was expected to be military defeated by Saudi Arabia and its
00:17:43allies into regional actor capable of
00:17:46actually directing influence on international
00:17:50shipping, energy security and the calculations the United States of
00:17:54America
00:17:54itself.
00:18:00Greetings doctor and greetings to all our viewers. The Yemini Armed forces had
00:18:04already become regional actor that every power had to take into account. long before
00:18:08reaching babel mandab geographically. This was made possible by what may be
00:18:11their most important weapon, boldness. The decision taken by Sana
00:18:15to support the people of Ghazza. Sanah did not need a direct
00:18:19geographical presence at Babelmandab to exert influence over it. It
00:18:23already possessed the ability to project firepower from different parts of Yemeni
00:18:26territory. The clearest evidence was the escalation of its support
00:18:30operations, which eventually reached the point of effectively closing the port of
00:18:34Ilat through missile and drone attacks. So... was
00:18:38geographically far from babal manations as serious and consequential
00:18:41actor. Even before any geographical move toward Babelmandab,
00:18:45Yemen was already capable of imposing naval blockade and today, exerting
00:18:49pressure on Saudi shipping. Reaching areas around Babel Mandab would therefore give
00:18:53Sana greater leverage, greater control and greater visibility, but it
00:18:56would fundamentally be an extension of capability it already possesses. At
00:19:00the same time, Yemen has the sovereign right to exercise control over its own
00:19:04territory. This should not automatically be portrayed as a threat to international
00:19:08navigation. Sana is a state, not a criminal organization, and
00:19:12its actions should be understood within the context of its declared strategic
00:19:15objectives. The attempt to portray Yemen's presence around Babelmandab is some kind of
00:19:19catastrophe overlooks a basic reality. This is Yemeni
00:19:22geography, and Yemen has demonstrated that it can project power and
00:19:26impose maritime pressure from virtually any part of its territory.
00:19:30Well, the United States of America appears to be pursuing right now a wider
00:19:33strategy of increasing pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
00:19:37while sammelt trying to just preserve alternative maritime
00:19:41and energy security uh routes through the uh uh red sea and through
00:19:45the babil mandab after losing the straight of hormoz, but now after these
00:19:49developments, how interconnected are the battlefields really in
00:19:52Yemen, uh, to the Red Sea, to the Persian Gulf and possibly to
00:19:56South Lebanon to Gaza, I mean the
00:20:00wider war of aggression now against the Islamic Republic of Iran
00:20:04has taken a whole new level in the region. I think what do you
00:20:08think?
00:20:14yes, since the beginning the alaxa flood and the emergence the unity
00:20:18the fronts, these developments have become increasingly significant because for
00:20:22the first time, the concept of coordinated military fronts was being
00:20:26translated into concrete action on the ground. Today, with Yemen
00:20:30exercising practical and geographical control over the strategic maritime
00:20:33passage, the battle takes a much greater dimension and carries major...
00:20:37strategic significance. We have already seen the scale the impact when the eminy
00:20:41armed forces imposed pressure on Saudi oil exports and maritime traffic.
00:20:45The repercussions were felt across global markets. Saudi Arabia had been
00:20:49relying
00:20:49on it. see routs to export substantial quantities of oil and had also been
00:20:53preparing to increase those exports in order to compensate for any disruption affecting the
00:20:57flow of oil through the straight of hormos. Today, Saudi Arabia cannot
00:21:01export either its usual volumes or the additional quantities that it
00:21:05had intended to use as buffer. This is why the consequences are being felt
00:21:09across the markets. The mistake is to look at what is happening in Iran,
00:21:13Yemen and Lebanon as separate battles. They are one battle, even if
00:21:17they take place across different geographies and carry different. headlines: the
00:21:21United States needs to understand that the unity the fronts has created a broad
00:21:24challenge to the Israelian-American project. This requires different
00:21:28approach, not simply a military one. Further escalation around the straight
00:21:32of Hormus or Babelmandap could ignite a much wilder fire, one that would
00:21:36not be confined to Yemen, Iran or Lebanon. We have already seen prices
00:21:40rise around the world. The United States itself is beginning to view this as losing
00:21:44battle. The clearest evidence is the impact on ordinary Americans
00:21:47pockets when people wake up in the morning. drive to work and see the price of fuel
00:21:51at the gas station. That economic pressure will eventually be reflected at the ballot
00:21:55box. If Trump and his party lose the mid-term elections, the American
00:21:59voter may well see the attack on Iran as a major strategic
00:22:02mistake. After all, when Washington and Tehran were sitting at the
00:22:06negotiating table, there was no need for such a
00:22:09confrontation. Instead, the decision to abandon
00:22:13that path and escalate has produced negative consequences. Eventually, the
00:22:17American public will respond through the ballot box. What we are witnessing
00:22:20today is one interconnected battle. The United States and its allies
00:22:24are moving to preserve their dominance while the opposing forces are moving to
00:22:28reject that hegemony. The resistance front and its supporters have
00:22:32demonstrated
00:22:32their ability endure and remain steadfast because they have lived under intense
00:22:36pressure for very long time. The real question is whether the other
00:22:39side, particularly the Persian Gulf states and the west, can
00:22:43withstand even more pressure. This is especially important as winter approaches
00:22:47and Europe faces growing energy and heating needs. "the world therefore
00:22:51needs to act, not simply to defend Yemen or Iran, but to defend
00:22:55its own interests and the principles of international law. It should pressure Trump
00:22:59to return to moral, rational course, rather than taking the United States
00:23:03and the world with it further down a path toward
00:23:05disaster. Well, you know, the kingdom of Saudi
00:23:09Arabia has spent billions of dollars on weaponizing the
00:23:13kingdom against the people the region instead of actually
00:23:17protecting the people the region, but what's happening?" now is
00:23:20something that I called regional remontada by the Yemeni
00:23:24revolutionary resistance fighters,
00:23:27can this actually force eventually the kingdom of Saudi Arabia
00:23:31into changing its foreign policy, especially with
00:23:35Yemen, and maybe push it towards dependence from
00:23:38Washington and its allies, or maybe push it towards
00:23:42the uh literal lap of
00:23:45zionus.
00:23:50First of all, we should actually thank Saudi Arabia for helping to arm the Yemeny
00:23:54armed forces, albeit unintentionally. Even if Yemen had
00:23:58possessed vast financial resources and the ability to purchase
00:24:01weapons. There were certain systems that could not simply be supplied to Yemen,
00:24:05because the United States and western arms companies reserve particular weapons for their
00:24:09regional allies and partners. In that sense, Saudi Arabia ended up
00:24:13arming Yemen without realizing it. Through its aggression against Yemen, Saudi
00:24:16Arabia also strengthened Yemen in ways it never intended. The war. created a
00:24:20powerful sense of national resolve among Yemenis who refused to become anyone's
00:24:24instrument or accept aggression against their country. That aggression brought out the
00:24:27strongest quantities of Yemeni society, its resilience, determination,
00:24:31and ability to manufacture and develop weapons. Today, Yemen has acquired a
00:24:35formidable strategic Arsenal, developed its capabilities on the ground and
00:24:39reached the Babel Mandup. We are not threatening anyone, we are asserting
00:24:43sovereignty over geographical area that falls within Yemen's sovereign
00:24:46domain. Saudi Arabia, like the rest the world, ' needs to
00:24:50recognize the changes that have taken place. Yemen was once treated as a
00:24:54secondary front and a marginal state. Today the entire world has to
00:24:57factor Yemen into its calculations. The question is whether Saudi Arabia is
00:25:01doing the same. Every time San has called on the odd to return to the road
00:25:05map, it is essentially offered the least costly option, return to
00:25:09good neighborly relations and a political solution based on equality and mutual
00:25:13respect. Instead of choosing solution that costs virtually nothing,
00:25:16Saudi Arabia has pursued alliances, agreements and greater. reliance on
00:25:20American protection, perhaps it should consider the alternative, yemeny
00:25:24security a cost of zer, whenever calls for
00:25:28return to the right path, good neighborly relations and solutions based on
00:25:32mutual respect, Saudi Arabia seems to interpret that position as a
00:25:36sign that is its weakest. The evidence suggests
00:25:39otherwise, Riad has repeatedly miscalculated, it made
00:25:43the right move in 2022 when it agreed with san to reduce tensions.
00:25:47Negotiations continued for years and eventually used a road
00:25:50map, but Saudi Arabia made what we consider a grave strategic
00:25:54mistake when it returned to escalation. It should have understood that was
00:25:58preparing precisely for this possibility during the period surrounding.
00:26:02a flood, while Saudi Arabia was underestimating Yemen, Sant was
00:26:06preparing and building its capabilities. Today, Saudi Arabia has entered
00:26:10extremely dangerous territory, and in our view, will pay very heavy
00:26:14price. Sana considers this an opportunity to force Saudi Arabia to
00:26:18reconsider its calculations, and that opportunity, once
00:26:21presented, cannot simply be ignored. Definitely, and
00:26:25it's going to be very interesting to see how the leaders in the Kingdom of Saudi
00:26:29Arabia will take that approach, maybe they will be losing. They
00:26:32occupied like Jizan and Najran, no one
