00:05:49Operation economic outcast is in fact sanctioning
00:05:5360 plus entities all over the world, anybody who's
00:05:56tied to Iran's oil or nuclear missile
00:05:59programs uh right now, and the reason that lot of people are
00:06:03calling this kind of a show is because uh the US
00:06:07has not uh been showing any sort of
00:06:10toughness against - players like China and like when you
00:06:14notice that China banks and companies um have been purchasing
00:06:18more than 80% of Iran's oil experts that would be the first phone call you
00:06:22think that Trump would be making right now but he's not so lot of and that's just
00:06:26one example this is for show because Besson himself
00:06:30says the point of putting this out there is to
00:06:34cause Iran to be making a deal because they see uh uh
00:06:38the severity of what this looks like are we willing to follow through
00:06:42with this? on some the phone calls have been made. Today we are launching
00:06:45operation Economic Outcast to foreclose
00:06:49every other option available to the Iranian regime.
00:06:53Treasury has mapped every node, every
00:06:56facilitator and every network that Iran has used to smuggle
00:07:00oil and evade sanctions. Beginning
00:07:03today, the actions of treasury and other agencies will
00:07:07tighten the news and block every potential source of
00:07:11revenue that funds the IRGC and the evil
00:07:15Iranian regime. We are enforcing a zero leakage
00:07:19approach, there will be no minimal breathing space for the regime
00:07:22to rebuild its capacity to inflict terror against
00:07:26America and the world. The final refuge
00:07:30of this regime is the mistaken conclusion of nations
00:07:34that still finance the Iranian threat in the hopes of evading
00:07:38it. It is no longer acceptable to operate
00:07:42in the... spaces of this conflict, countries cannot
00:07:45claim they are blind to enabling this activity. I do
00:07:49think um, that lot these threats are
00:07:53legitimate threats on smaller levels, uh, but make no
00:07:56mistake, when this thing goes all the way, like we have to be
00:08:00willing to let our entire petro dollar
00:08:03system fail, and there seems to be people wanting that to happen, or at least
00:08:07not caring about those results, but uh, no, there absolutely
00:08:11is a show. going on here uh, because the idea is that if you can get
00:08:15Iran to maybe come back to the
00:08:18negotiating table somewhere, it doesn't look like Iran's somewhere,
00:08:22it doesn't look like Iran's in any position, uh, conditions
00:08:26have remained very conditions have remained very,
00:08:30very unchanged, uh, they haven't budged at all, they need, they want that 300
00:08:34billion in US compensation, uh, they want the US to be lifting all
00:08:38the sanctions, there's a whole list of things and that includes uh, stopping
00:08:42the the uh bombardment of south Lebanon and Gaza, none of this stuff has
00:08:46happened, this was stuff that was put into the mou ori
00:08:49originally, it's been signed by both parties, so that's the thing that
00:08:53Iran's not going to budge on, so we'll see how far bessent and
00:08:57the rest the Trump team uh want to take
00:08:59this.
00:09:11Iran has spent years developing alternative mechanisms for
00:09:15sanctions evasion, including intermediaries, informal banking
00:09:19channels, borter arrangements a front companies and
00:09:23alternative trading partners. the effectiveness of
00:09:26operation economic outcast will therefore depend heavily on
00:09:30how willing countries such as China, the UAE,
00:09:33Turkey and others are to cooperate with Washington
00:09:37and how aggressively the US uses secondary sanctions against
00:09:41them.
00:10:31"sanctions never actually do the thing they tell us they're going to do, and there is
00:10:34absolutely a history of this um, and so and let's go to the
00:10:38actual the narrative that is is not holding up right now, the fact that
00:10:42Trump originally in this second term he ran on being the
00:10:46anti-war president, that was never the thing, and you have to go back to that
00:10:502018 maximum pressure campaign when he was president to
00:10:53really show..." what he was re-elected to do this time uh, he
00:10:57started uh that campaign, we're talking about when he first got in,
00:11:01he ran on tearing up the Iran nuclear deal, that's
00:11:05exactly what he he ran on, that's what he actually did, and
00:11:09that's as it was called maximum pressure, and it was actually designed
00:11:13escalate, not to de-escalate, and that's why we
00:11:17saw Iran respond thoroughly that way, to
00:11:21to rise up and be ready for what is happening now, and Trump's been the only...
00:11:25us president that's been willing to actually start this war with
00:11:28Iran, that's why his handlers allowed him back in, because he showed
00:11:32every sign that he was going to be able to do the thing that Bill
00:11:36Clinton didn't do, that Obama didn't do, that Biden didn't
00:11:39do, and so this is exactly what's happening now, it's not a fluke, it's not
00:11:43a oh, he Baiton switched us, he's doing the thing that he showed
00:11:47us with that maximum pressure
00:11:50campaign.
00:12:08This is the social section the program, ironically this is very
00:12:12telling confession. In other words, Iran is capable of
00:12:15outpacing the US administration's
00:12:18miscalculations, not only on the military front, but also
00:12:22on the economic front. It can expose. the failure of
00:12:26officials like Scott Bestens to contain the blowback the
00:12:29administration's missteps on the US economy and impact
00:12:33Washington is desperately trying to hide behind empty
00:12:37rhetoric. Iranians, if you look at their x accounts
00:12:41that they are trying to create economic problems in the US,
00:12:45either they from using the bond yields, using the
00:12:48oil price, and just because the whether
00:12:52it's Stephanie, Bloomberg, the financial... times, even the Wall Street
00:12:56Journal, are
00:12:58so unhing with Trump derrangement syndrome, they want to give the
00:13:01Iranians
00:13:03a platform, the to operate on. Scott Beson
00:13:07exposes that operation economic outcast is not about
00:13:10Iran, it is about attacking China, Venezuela and Iran
00:13:14or all about cutting China's oil sources. One one the
00:13:18things we've done and what the president's done is fantastic sequencing, so we we
00:13:22are running operation. economic outcast right
00:13:26now, and this is the greatest economic isolation operation in the
00:13:29history the world, we are going to exfixiate this regime. now we have the
00:13:33bloccade, and because the bloccade,
00:13:35the oil is not getting out, so there's
00:13:39probably only about 30 million barrels of Iranian crude oil left that china
00:13:43hasn't bought, so that will run out soon, and there there
00:13:47will be, no problem with China buying because they have no product, so the
00:13:50blockade is is bl, the blockade is working,
00:13:54reporters, you described this as economic dday,
00:13:57but DED wasn't a threat of invasion, and the US didn't
00:14:01give a timeline to Germany, so why not impose the sanctions
00:14:05today? Besson said, why would I want to blow up the
00:14:09global financial system? Well, we we are giving everyone
00:14:13the opportunity the to remedy bad behavior.

00:14:21believe that it is important to level set and give people.

00:14:32sanctions are very powerful tool, and we here
00:14:36at treasury, this is Jean Lang, the acting under secretary
00:14:40for terrorism finance, and in the terrorism finance
00:14:43department and in OFAC, the reason we are able to use
00:14:47secondary sanctions is because we do not take their use lightly. how
00:14:51did it Besent see how his fund would
00:14:55work out and how did it actually work out? besten was a
00:14:59failure in the private sector and is now just puppet for Donald
00:15:03Trump. keys square capital management Scott Beson started
00:15:07defund in 2015 after leaving George Sorus's
00:15:10firm. he raised $4.5 billion dollars making it
00:15:14one the largest fund launches in history. the fund
00:15:18reaches a peak of about 5.1 billion
00:15:21dollars in assets under management in 2017. but
00:15:25it lost money during several difficult years, client
00:15:29withdraws because the weak returns, major
00:15:33institutional investors pulled the money out, the number of big
00:15:37investors dropped from 180 down to 20,
00:15:40asset shrinkage, total assets fell by nearly
00:15:4490% from their peak, dropping to roughly
00:15:47$577 million dollars by the end
00:15:51of
00:15:512023.

00:16:44That is exactly the reason why some are calling it a show or
00:16:48a charade or demonstration effect
00:16:52rather than an actual plan uh that may be
00:16:56effective um in achieving uh
00:17:00goals that uh the military and diplomatic assault
00:17:03upon Iran has failed to achieve up to this point.
00:17:07since the illegal US Israeli attack upon
00:17:11Iran on February 28th. I think it's very
00:17:14important to remember at the very
00:17:17outset that unilateral and secondary
00:17:21sanctions, like the US has a imposed in the past
00:17:24and is proposing to do now
00:17:28under this new program that they've
00:17:31unveiled economic outcast. They
00:17:35are illegal in international.
00:17:44Oil is at the heart of oil is at the heart of
00:17:48sanctions, the new strategy is find everyone who makes the oil
00:17:52sale possible, that means targeting owners, vessel managers,
00:17:55brokers, insures, shipping companies, bunkering companies,
00:17:59front companies, financial intermediaries, petroleum companies, shadow
00:18:03fleet vessels, people who receive and move the proceeds,
00:18:07Does the US really think that is
00:18:09possible?
00:19:00Iran has shown incredible resilience and
00:19:04resistance and this has had an effect in
00:19:07global and geopolitical and international
00:19:11relations in exposing the US weakness
00:19:14uh
00:19:15and um as result um it has uh
00:19:18demonstrated and shown that the failures
00:19:22to uh with this imposed war uh
00:19:26suggest that uh it is possible for
00:19:29countries even countries that are not superpowers to
00:19:33find the resources um to resist '
00:19:38US
00:19:39domination.
00:19:59This is the info news section the program, the changing world cannot be steered

00:20:57the political divide expressed concern about Donald Trump's pledge to
00:21:01award cash dividend for midterm wins. The high
00:21:05price tag would be outrageous, that would cost over
00:21:08$1 trillion dollars, that would add to the deficit,
00:21:12it's already 40 trillion dollars. Now
00:21:16Palestine's economy, Israelity checkpoints and a west bank.
00:21:20are choking the palestinian economy, escalating
00:21:23matrix of military closures and road blocks is
00:21:27devastating local businesses and fragmenting the

00:22:58includes sanctions, secondary sanctions and cutting off
00:23:02all economic lifelines to Iran. Any country doing business with
00:23:05Iran, facilitating trade or providing credit will
00:23:09be hit with secondary sanctions. China already announced that it
00:23:13will not follow these US sanctions. That is said
00:23:17to be different from ordinary. sanctions, but it has
00:23:21been done in the past and failed. the easiest way to
00:23:25understand the difference is traditional sanctions target Iranian
00:23:29people and companies. economic outcast targets the
00:23:31entire financial ecosystem,
00:23:34particularly transactions are blocked. we have the
00:23:38economic outcast attacks the networking enabling
00:23:42transactions. sounds good on paper, but has been
00:23:45tested before and failed. now on that point, let me bring
00:23:49in matt. Weinglass, political analyst. The question that I had,
00:23:53Matt is, the criticism is basically this, that
00:23:56sanctions can seriously damage Iran's economy
00:24:00without necessarily forcing Iran's leadership to capitulate
00:24:04or surrender, that is what the US has always been warning.
00:24:08That distinction is at the heart the debate. Isn't what the US
00:24:12knows fully well, as we have seen so far, but
00:24:16it still executes this sanctions package to maybe achieve.
00:24:20what provoke protest, then regime
00:24:23change? yes, again, all the reasons we
00:24:26conduct these campaigns of economic warfare, and it's not just with Iran, we have a
00:24:30history of doing this um all over the place, this is our this is
00:24:34our mantra, this is what imperialism looks like uh, the these
00:24:38these type of sanctioning it's about going in, stealing land,
00:24:42stealing resources, murdering uh elected leaders in
00:24:45cases, some cases kidnapping them as we've done in Venezuela, but this is this
00:24:49is... has been our tried and trued uh uh blueprint for how we
00:24:53conduct uh imperialism on behalf the war machine and
00:24:57in this case this particular administration we're doing it on
00:25:00behalf of Israel, his handlers, we're talking about the greater
00:25:04Israel project, the Adelsons uh, that's the biggest money that was been
00:25:08contributed to this campaign, and that's again why Trump was
00:25:11handselected uh to
00:25:13come back in the second term and and conduct this these this
00:25:16economic warfare, now let's say look... look
00:25:20at what harm the economic dday has done to the US, putting Iran
00:25:24to decide for moment. the first one is oil prices have
00:25:28risen by 8% to $109 per barrel.
00:25:31diesel has been reaching $6 a gallon
00:25:35and has been taking over the b has been taking over
00:25:39the b roof 5.2%. roof

00:26:01open secret. "the US knows that sanctions won't impact the
00:26:05Islamic Republic in the way that the US wants. The US
00:26:09wants regime change, that's plain and simple. Even the US
00:26:13treasury secretary Scott Bessand has said so. Is
00:26:16this the US sanctions package meant to do just
00:26:20that? Well, I think that's an important point, because sanctions
00:26:23certainly can do damage to the economy without
00:26:27achieving the political goals that are the rational for it, and
00:26:31that's why I said it." very outset that it is a form of collective
00:26:35punishment that harms and hurts the poorest and the most vulnerable,
00:26:39and the US has been doing this imposing unilateral illegal sanctions
00:26:43upon so many countries in the world, and the evidence is
00:26:47that it doesn't achieve uh so-called regime change or
00:26:50any the political goals, it just causes serious harm
00:26:54in the economy and those who are affected most by it are, as I said,
00:26:58the poor and the vulnerable.
00:27:25The US has failed in its military operation against Iran,
00:27:28including in the straight
00:27:30of remoz, its military ambitions have made the situation much worse for
00:27:33the US economy, the numbers speak for themselves, now
00:27:37that the ansorol resistance movement has taken over the Bob Almandab
00:27:41straight, things look even worse for the US, which is
00:27:44basically left with no choice but to withdraw from its military
