00:00:14على rate by a quarter of a percentage point to three and three quarters to
00:00:18of 4%. Donald Trump doesn't like it, saying it should be around 1%. We should have

00:01:17of the region they inhabit and confident about their future inside the

00:01:38When Israel launched its unprovoked attack, initiating a

00:02:33a Good evening, two years after
00:02:36Israel assassinated hisbullah secretary general Said Hasan Nasrullah in
00:02:40Beirot, his legacy remains deeply tied to the
00:02:44political and military future of Lebanon and the wider region.
00:02:48Nasrulah led Hazbollah for more than three
00:02:51of decades, transforming the movement into a major political
00:02:55and military force in Lebanon and a central actor in the regional
00:02:59confrontation. with Israel, his
00:03:02in assassination in September 2024
00:03:05of followed of weeks later by the killing of his designated
00:03:08successorti marked one
00:03:11of the most significant blows to hisbullah in its
00:03:15history, two years on, however, hisbullah has not
00:03:18disappeared, under secretary general Sheikh Naim Qasim, the
00:03:22movement continues to reject the disarmament and
00:03:25insists that its weapons remain necessary in confronting this
00:03:29regression. so tonight, as his bull commemorates the man who
00:03:33led it for more than 30 years, we look
00:03:36beyond the memories and ask
00:03:38of about nastrola's legacy, how hisbula has changed since his
00:03:42assassination and what his assassination continues to mean for
00:03:46Lebanon, Israel and the wider region with our
00:03:49guests,
00:03:55we have Ali Murad joining us, he is a journalist and political commentator
00:03:58from the capital B.
00:04:00of Also joining us will be
00:04:04Hussein Al-Bukai, activist and political commentator in the city
00:04:08of Sana. Gentlemen, thank you both for
00:04:12your time tonight. I'm going to begin with Mr. Murad, as he's
00:04:16our guest in Beirot, two years after the
00:04:20assassination
00:04:21of the late leader of hisbullah secretary general, Sheikh, I'm
00:04:25so sorry, Said
00:04:26of Hasan Nasulah, how would you assess his legacy at this point?
00:04:33of Thank you for having
00:04:37of me. First of all, it's important to um to
00:04:41stress on the idea that
00:04:44of the assassination
00:04:45of the leaders
00:04:47of the resistance uh doesn't mean that the
00:04:50resistance of movement
00:04:53would um change its
00:04:56course throughout its mission.
00:05:01uh uh that is to confront the aggressors and fight
00:05:05fight against the uh the US zionist uh
00:05:09project in the region so when said
00:05:13was assassinated two years ago, hizbullah
00:05:17stated it clearly that they are not going to
00:05:21change their course if the the um
00:05:25the reason why they assassinated say nasrullah is
00:05:28was to to decapitate the resistance
00:05:32movement and cause it to reassess
00:05:35its mission regarding the the
00:05:39course the confrontation with the z. project in
00:05:43the region, it turned out that later,
00:05:47after the 15 months that had had passed,
00:05:51after the assassination of Sied Nasrallah, that Hisbullah is more
00:05:55committed to continue the path of
00:05:58Said Nasrallah and all the marters who have lost
00:06:02their lives or sacrificed their lives in order
00:06:06to have this resistance keep going
00:06:10in the mission of liberating. the lands and the
00:06:13humans who live in our region, because Said Nasarlah's
00:06:16legacy cannot be as stricted to
00:06:20Lebanon or even to the to the orient. Said
00:06:24Nasrallah's thoughts and teachings had
00:06:27been crossing borders across the Islamic
00:06:31world as well as the whole the whole world, because
00:06:35there are many people around the world,
00:06:39especially in Latin America and Africa ' in Asia
00:06:43and even in Europe and North
00:06:46America believed in what sayidad
00:06:50used to say and do against the aggressors, the
00:06:53genocidals who committed that genocide in
00:06:56Gaza. So Said Nasrallah who sacrificed his own blood
00:07:00defending Gaza and its people and the people the
00:07:04whole region uh was actually uh the
00:07:08beacon that the free people in this
00:07:11world. are following up, I think that Hisbullah
00:07:15is um more committed now after the assassination of
00:07:18Sayid Nasrallah and Sayid Hashim Safien to continue
00:07:22the path of resistance and I think right now if
00:07:26you ask anyone in the streets of Beirut uh about
00:07:30Syd Nasrullah they would say they
00:07:34they would respond that we are more
00:07:37committed uh to uh resistance and we
00:07:41are going to avenge uh
00:07:43designers because of what they did by
00:07:47assassinating this historic
00:07:49leader. Absolutely. Thank you so much,
00:07:53Mr. Murad. I'm going to come back to that. Mr. Albukari, you have been
00:07:57patiently waiting. Um, thank you for your time tonight,
00:08:01and how would you assess the legacy the late
00:08:04leader um and secretary general of Hisbullah, Said
00:08:08Hasan Nasrullah? Um, do you think this is what is achieve?
00:08:12their objectives in any possible way, they wanted to assassinate
00:08:16as Mr. Murad pointed out that they wanted
00:08:20to decapitate the Hisbollah's
00:08:23movement.
00:08:28For 30 years Sayed Hasan Nasrullah has been fighting
00:08:32the Zionis and he have established that the
00:08:36resistance can continue and fighting the Zionis and the
00:08:40occupation is possible and has actually given
00:08:43hope to all nation in in in
00:08:47in in especially in the region who came under attack or
00:08:50occupation either from attacks from the zinest or
00:08:54occupation from the uh the the united state like what
00:08:57happened in Iraq and as well in in Afghanistan the invasion of
00:09:00Afghanistan and one of his main legacy uh that sayid Hasan
00:09:04Nasarlah did and actually this legacy which actually will
00:09:08hurt the United States and the zionist forever is the
00:09:12is is the unity the fronts, it was the first
00:09:15time that when Gaza came
00:09:19under attack and under from the Zionist, Hizbullah has
00:09:22responded and targeted Israel and occupied
00:09:25Palestine in in October 8th,
00:09:29so the second day after the Toufan al
00:09:33Aqsa, and this actually has spread, after that Yemen has
00:09:36joined the fight against Israel, maybe a month or a month and a half
00:09:40after that
00:09:41and as well. so this actually has united the
00:09:45resistance and it has made us as act act as one
00:09:48country, so if one country the resist will come under major
00:09:52attack from any coalition
00:09:55like the example what's happening now against Iran, I believe at one point if
00:09:59Iran will need the Yemenis, they will ask the Yemenies
00:10:03and Yemenis will not hesitate to take any action in support of
00:10:07Iran as well in support of Hisbollaif it will come under
00:10:10a massive attack and this actually this legacy and this new
00:10:13strategy, it was established by Sayed Hasan Nasrullah,
00:10:17because what the zionist has been trying to do in the last 30 or 40 years, they
00:10:21trying to single out countries one by one they. started
00:10:25with with with Gazza and after that went to Hizbollah and then Syria and then
00:10:29targeted Iran and and Yemen was as well on the list,
00:10:32that's why I think this is one the major legacy that has
00:10:36established and as well the sign state of Israel they
00:10:39they always think targeting leaders that it will
00:10:43actually destroy the movement or destroy the resistance they
00:10:46mean the they totally ignore that the resistance is an idea is a belief
00:10:50is a faith a faith it cannot be killed by
00:10:54as by the assassination of any leader, we've seen as an
00:10:58example in yemen after the killing of sayid hussein al
00:11:02hothi, was the one that established or started
00:11:06ansarullah movement, he wasn't saada, only had
00:11:09few man handful of men with him fighting, and
00:11:12look now we are ansarullah and we as well yemen and the yemani army that we
00:11:16are targeting ships far thousand of of of
00:11:20kilometers away from yemen, saudi ship and before we block the red
00:11:24sea in front. the zionist and after that we we were
00:11:27targeted by the prosperity guardian as we call the
00:11:31genocide guardian and we we f them back so i
00:11:35think
00:11:35that the unity of of the the axis of resistant is the real
00:11:39strength that the united state and the zionist and all the country that
00:11:43are loyal to those two evil the unity the front
00:11:46is actually what scared them and is actually what will maybe in
00:11:50the future force the united state out of our region and
00:11:54maybe inshallah in the future to liberate
00:11:57Palestine. Absolutely. Mr.
00:12:00Murad, Said Han the Hazbollah's
00:12:04resistance movement for more than three decades. I
00:12:07wanted your thoughts when it comes to the situation and what is
00:12:11happening today in Lebanon, how difficult it has been
00:12:15for Sheikh Naim Qasim to establish his own leadership
00:12:18style a mid all the tensions in Lebanon as of
00:12:21today.
00:12:28Well the
00:12:30the current secretary general of Hisbullah Sheikh Naim
00:12:33Qasim, he himself spoke about the um
00:12:37the big responsibilities that were put upon
00:12:41his shoulders after the assassination the two
00:12:45sayds hashim
00:12:47safien. Of course, it's a
00:12:50heavy responsibility for Sheikh Naim Qasim.
00:12:55because we are talking here about
00:12:58um the loss of very
00:13:01brilliant charismatic
00:13:05leader who had
00:13:08very esteemed
00:13:10and um very great
00:13:14experience when it comes to geopolitics in the
00:13:17region and the way uh wars are being fought,
00:13:21i don't mean here that in case sayid was still...
00:13:25that the situation would have been different when it comes to the confrontation
00:13:29between the resistance fighters and the zionist army
00:13:33in south lebanon. i'm just saying that
00:13:37it's it's important here to take into consideration that
00:13:40sayid had his own
00:13:43experience through the 32
00:13:46years that he
00:13:49was the secretary general of this
00:13:53resistance movement ' He had vision and I think that
00:13:57Sheikh Naim Qasim also has this same
00:14:00vision that the whole people the region
00:14:04should come together and coordinate
00:14:07together to fulfill the promise of
00:14:10liberating Palestine. He spoke,
00:14:14Sad Nasarlah spoke about this many times. I i think right
00:14:18now, if you take a look to Lebanon, for
00:14:21example, taking into consideration the political situation in
00:14:25Leban, the political authority, which is aligned
00:14:28to the Americans and the
00:14:30Saudis, it's not
00:14:33easy for the resistance movement to
00:14:36keep to turn it back, it's back to the
00:14:40internal, to try to fight the zionist aggressors
00:14:43and occupiers and at the same time take on
00:14:47daggers and knifes in the back from the political elite in
00:14:51Lebanon. used to with
00:14:55this using a
00:14:59nationalistic speech calling
00:15:02on all the parties here in Leban to come
00:15:05together to to to be careful the
00:15:09traps that the Americans and designers are trying to put
00:15:13inside to to
00:15:16project the divisions and the sectarian
00:15:20especially the sectarian divisions in Lebanon and across the
00:15:24region and I think that Sheikh Naim Qasim is keen to
00:15:27keep on following this legacy
00:15:30of Said Nasarlah when it comes to
00:15:34practicing politics inside Lebanon but at same
00:15:37time uh the main mission the resistance which is to
00:15:41fight and defend against the aggressors and
00:15:45the occupiers is still the same and it's going to be the
00:15:49same whether this
00:15:53war is going to be prolonged whether it's going to
00:15:57be years to fight again against the
00:16:00aggressors. i think the the stable
00:16:03politics of hizbullah when it comes to both there is...
00:16:07resistance, the military action and the
00:16:09political
00:16:13way of practicing politics is still the same
00:16:17and it's going to be the same, of course right now the situation is
00:16:21more regional for the resistance in Lebanon,
00:16:25there has to be coordination with the Iranians, with the Yemenis, with the
00:16:29Iraqis and across the region, with the free
00:16:32people and across the world, and I
00:16:36think the next... round the confrontation, maybe
00:16:40it's not going to be uh that far, but for Sheikh Naim
00:16:44Qasim and the leadership the resistance, this
00:16:47confrontation means that Hisbullah is
00:16:51still in the middle the war, the war hasn't ended yet,
00:16:55in the last speech of Said Nasarlah, he spoke about this and he said it
00:16:59may take days or months or even years to
00:17:03end this war uh by liberating hisb.
00:17:07Palestine Inshallah. Mr.
00:17:10Bukheiri, Sheikh Naim Qasim has rejected the
00:17:14current US mediated uh Lebanon and Israel
00:17:18framework seasfires since we have been saying so many
00:17:22the violations so far in southern Lebanon and what has been
00:17:25happening in the region ever since. The question that I wanted to uh
00:17:29put to you is, how do you analyze the
00:17:33Hezbulah's movements analysis the situation the
00:17:36region? as of
00:17:37now,
00:17:43i think we've seen that this fire, mean the zionis
00:17:46and the united states and as well the saudi, they always try to use the seas
00:17:50fire to protect themselves, saudi has been violating the seas fire that
00:17:54signed in 2022, many many
00:17:57time, and as well we've seen in in
00:18:01in with Iran, the seas fight was violated by the
00:18:05United States as well in in Lebanon. That's why I think that
00:18:09Hisbullah actually as well he's kind of benefiting from
00:18:12uh that seas fire because he needed as well
00:18:15sometime uh like off from the battle to to
00:18:19regroup and to make new plans and of course
00:18:23Hizbullah rule in
00:18:24in in the region is strong because Hisbollah is the only
00:18:28power or the only as a country
00:18:32Lebanon that actually border designed the state of Israel or occupied
00:18:36Palestine that's why I believe. the role of hizbullah is
00:18:39is is is vital any big battle that will come inshallah to
00:18:43against state of Israel or the liberation of of of of
00:18:46palestine so
00:18:50murad two years after uh sayid hasannas
00:18:54assassination Israel continues to carry out strikes in lebanon you
00:18:58talked about final battle between the hisbullah resistance
00:19:01movements and Israel do you have a timeline in your
00:19:05mind and how do you think that battle is going to be any different from the previous
00:19:09ones?
00:19:13um, i believe that that battle it will come, i think
00:19:17so sorry, but that question was for
00:19:19our other guess, i'm going to come back to
00:19:21you.
00:19:23okay,
00:19:26okay, i think that the this war is
00:19:30not going to end unless there's a
00:19:34final victorious party. here
00:19:38and so it's like a zero sum conflict
00:19:41and um as we know according to our
00:19:45believes that we are going to be the
00:19:48victorious party here because it's a
00:19:51divine holy promise that was
00:19:55written in in Quran so I think that
00:19:58Hisbullah knows this as as well as all the
00:20:02uh other members the the resistance
00:20:06front across the...
00:20:09and
00:20:11hizbullah isbullah's main concern right now is to rebuild
00:20:14its military capabilities and to
00:20:18prepare for the second round, it may take many
00:20:22rounds to reach this end, but in the end we
00:20:26know that the final battle is
00:20:28coming, and and i think this perception
00:20:32is not special for hizbullah, i think that the
00:20:36yemen the same, the Iranians believe the same, the
00:20:40irakis believe the same, and the Palestinians as
00:20:43well, because right now, if you take a look how
00:20:47the Americans and the Israelis are... um
00:20:50conducting their aggressions and wars
00:20:53against uh those um fronts in
00:20:57Lebanon, Palestine, Iran and
00:21:00Yemen, I think
00:21:02uh this pushes the the
00:21:06parties uh the the members the Resistance
00:21:09front to do the same in,
00:21:13I mean to unite, to coordinate and to
00:21:17fight in um a harmonic. uh
00:21:21facing the aggression, the US and Israeli aggression, i
00:21:24don't think that it's going to take that long,
00:21:27because we have seen up till now, we have seen
00:21:31the weakness the Americans in the region, the American posture in the
00:21:35region, after the failing aggression on Iran and
00:21:39the outcomes the war, I think it's paving the
00:21:42way to kicking the Americans out the region,
00:21:46the Americans are going to leave, and the moment the... "americans are
00:21:50going to leave, the the what you can say it's a
00:21:54prophecy, it's not a prophecy, it's a prediction
00:21:58that was said by said nasrullah years ago that we might
00:22:02not need that much of military capabilities to end
00:22:06designist regime, it's going to be, maybe
00:22:10it's going to be easier than we thought, so
00:22:13maybe the the hard part of it has
00:22:17passed and the later part is going to be..." easier
00:22:21for the uh all the resistance fighters in the region to
00:22:24end this zionist colonial terrorist
00:22:28regime. was saying, in some
00:22:32days we are going to have the also the anniversary of October the
00:22:367th, um, what happened in the year
00:22:382023. after three years of everything that we have seen
00:22:42in the region, how do you see and how would you analyze
00:22:46the situation the axes of resistance as a whole?
00:22:54I think what's now what we have like something new
00:22:58or being established in the acts of resistance is the unity the fronts and
00:23:02we've seen that Yemen has added a huge strength to the access of
00:23:06resistance something that comes I mean they didn't expect neither the
00:23:09zionist neither the United State or the even the Gulf state
00:23:13especially Saudi Arabia they thought that Yemen will continue to
00:23:17be like the back backyard of uh Saudi Arabia, but we've
00:23:21seen that now, I believe one the
00:23:23strongest card that the axes of
00:23:26resistance have at this point is is is Yemen, is Babel
00:23:30Mandab, and as well that yemen is have been as
00:23:33well putting some new effort and new strength to
00:23:37this of resistance, an example by targeting the
00:23:41zine state of Israel by forming a blow cade by fighting the United
00:23:45States and at the same time advancing on on on on the
00:23:49ground. because we see that the strength the United States is the
00:23:52present in the region and as well the loyalty the Saudis
00:23:55especially the Saudis in the region if we if Yemen will
00:23:59break the Saudi if Yemen will will will will
00:24:03and as well Iran will will force the United State to
00:24:07withdraw from the region then Israel actually is not
00:24:10is not that strong state of Israel we've seen in
00:24:14september October 7 what what what the resistant has
00:24:18done and thanks to the help from the... united state an open check they
00:24:21give to the zionist uh the resistant in hamas w they were not
00:24:25fighting Israel they were fighting Israel they were fighting united states the
00:24:29uk Germany and entire europe so
00:24:33and we've seen that still the resistance exist in Gaza they they of
00:24:37course they have been like we can say badly
00:24:41injured but we have seen them now I believe that if there is any
00:24:44any another battle in Gaza they will be surprised the
00:24:48z they will be surprised by the hammas resistant as they were surprised
00:24:52by hisbullah when he at one point launch hundreds of missiles against
00:24:56the scient state of Israel after the assassination of imam Ali Khamenei
00:25:00and as well using those drones Israel had no knowledge they thought
00:25:03that they have destroyed all the missilees they have destroyed all the weapons
00:25:07debot
00:25:08but what have brought a new some new type of weapons in in the
00:25:11battle that's why I believe the act of resisting even though it has lost
00:25:15great leaders and great commanders but still is stronger
00:25:19and will get stronger, we see the fight with the United States, it will force them
00:25:23out the region, inshallah, nicely

00:26:24on one hand there's their honor but on the other hand
00:26:28there's all the invisible unwaged work that women do and women are
00:26:32really... the pillar, you know, if the woman is doing well, the men
00:26:36will do
00:26:36well,
