00:05:49present a few points to you. Considering
00:05:53that we are
00:05:56on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic
00:06:00Emirate and the liberation of the country from
00:06:02the occupying forces, therefore,
00:06:05I would like to mention a few points
00:06:08regarding the progress, development, and advancement
00:06:12of Afghanistan. Based on
00:06:15international studies, if a country wants
00:06:19to achieve progress, development
00:06:22and growth, a few
00:06:25points can play
00:06:27an important role as influential factors
00:06:31and variables in the progress of countries.
00:06:34The first issue is political
00:06:38independence in a country. As long
00:06:41as a country is not politically independent
00:06:45and its political destiny is not determined
00:06:48by its own people, that country will never
00:06:52achieve victory, nor will it achieve progress
00:06:56and development. Therefore, this is
00:06:59a historical opportunity for Afghanistan, that today we
00:07:03are an independent country, without
00:07:07any foreign soldiers in our country. The people of Afghanistan themselves
00:07:10manage their political,
00:07:14economic, scientific, and educational system and situation.
00:07:18Therefore, from a scientific
00:07:21perspective, the ground for Afghanistan's
00:07:24progress and development is completely prepared
00:07:28from a political aspect. The second factor that
00:07:31can play a role in the progress and development of a country
00:07:34is the strengthening of national unity.
00:07:37If a country strengthens the fabric
00:07:41and foundations of its national unity and manages
00:07:44this process in such a way that the
00:07:47enemy never has an opportunity to infiltrate,
00:07:51then the ground and
00:07:55foundation for the country's progress
00:07:58are provided in the economic,
00:08:01political, scientific, and educational fields. Fortunately,
00:08:04in the current situation, the ground for the development of national
00:08:07unity and the strengthening of national identity has been
00:08:11prepared more than ever before, and this can provide
00:08:15a foundation for Afghanistan's growth and progress
00:08:19now and in the future. Therefore, we all have a responsibility
00:08:22to take serious, prominent, and worthy
00:08:25steps in safeguarding Afghanistan's national
00:08:29unity, and the enemies of Afghanistan should not
00:08:32be allowed to create conflict and division
00:08:35among the people of Afghanistan under
00:08:38various pretexts. The third issue
00:08:42is strengthening the economy and public welfare.
00:08:46Once again, the officials of the system have
00:08:49taken important steps in advancing economic
00:08:52goals through holding exhibitions, supporting
00:08:56the growth of domestic production, and supporting national
00:09:00and international investors in this regard, which
00:09:04can shape a bright future for Afghanistan's
00:09:07economy. The fourth component
00:09:11is ensuring public
00:09:13security, and once again, in the era
00:09:16of the Islamic Emirate, we are witnessing that
00:09:20the entire country enjoys stability and security. This
00:09:23can play an important role in attracting investment
00:09:27because there is an organic link between security
00:09:30and economy. If security is provided in a country,
00:09:34the ground for investment and economic growth
00:09:38is automatically provided. The last component
00:09:41is the absence or lack of administrative and financial
00:09:45corruption, and once again, in the Islamic
00:09:49Emirate system, decisive and relentless efforts have
00:09:53been made to combat corruption, and corruption
00:09:56has been eradicated in our country. And if there are
00:10:00any reports in some cases, they will
00:10:03also be addressed. These five components that I mentioned
00:10:07to you form the foundation and groundwork for the progress
00:10:10of any country, which
00:10:25we can tangibly observe in the era of the Islamic
00:10:29Emirate. These five components still exist.
00:10:32Today, Afghanistan has provided good opportunities for traders
00:10:36and investors to invest in various economic

00:13:04actors of the country. At the outset, I would

00:13:11to the esteemed leadership of the Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock
00:13:15Chamber for organizing this valuable exhibition,
00:13:19which provides an opportunity to introduce the country's capacity,
00:13:23products, and economic opportunities. Also,
00:13:26the participation of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and
00:13:29Investment, the Afghanistan Agriculture and Livestock
00:13:33Chamber, the Mines Chamber, the Craftsmen's Chamber,
00:13:35and other private sector institutions in such
00:13:39events is a sign of solidarity, coordination,
00:13:42and shared responsibility for the future of
00:13:46Afghanistan. Dear attendees, Afghanistan is a country rich in
00:13:50capacities and great economic
00:13:53opportunities. Agriculture and livestock are among
00:13:57the fundamental pillars of our national
00:14:00economy, and they are directly linked to the lives,
00:14:03livelihoods, employment, and food security of a large
00:14:06part of the Afghan people. Fertile soil,
00:14:10diverse climate, high-quality products,
00:14:13united human resources, and Afghanistan's
00:14:17valuable geographical location have provided
00:14:20us with opportunities. However, today our
00:14:23responsibility is not only to increase production,
00:14:27but we must also create market value-added
00:14:30and competitiveness for Afghan products.
00:14:33Our farmers must be assured that their
00:14:37products have a market. Our livestock farmers
00:14:41must have opportunities for growth and development.
00:14:44Our industrialists must have access to domestic
00:14:48raw materials and suitable markets. Our
00:14:51traders must be able to easily deliver Afghan
00:14:56products to regional and international markets.
00:14:59Our investors must invest in the country
00:15:02with greater confidence. If these links
00:15:05are connected, agriculture and livestock
00:15:09can not only meet domestic needs,
00:15:12but can also become one of the main
00:15:16drivers of production, employment, exports,
00:15:20and economic growth in Afghanistan.
00:15:23Honorable ministers, distinguished officials,
00:15:27private sector leaders present at this meeting,
00:15:30we must strive so that Afghanistan's agricultural
00:15:33products do not leave the country only
00:15:37as raw materials. Industrial development,
00:15:41processing, packaging, standardizing, creating cold
00:15:44storage facilities, improving transportation and
00:15:48transit, access to financial resources, and expanding
00:15:51export markets are essential needs of
00:15:54Afghanistan's agricultural economy.
00:15:58Fresh and dried fruits, saffron,
00:16:02jalabe, medicinal plants, and other agricultural
00:16:05and livestock products of Afghanistan have
00:16:08the potential for a wider presence in regional
00:16:12markets. Our goal should be that products
00:16:15produced in Afghanistan are processed
00:16:18in Afghanistan as much as possible. Honorable
00:16:22ministers, no economy is built only
00:16:25by the government, and no economy is
00:16:28built only by the private sector. A strong
00:16:31economy is the result of cooperation,
00:16:34trust, coordination, and shared responsibility
00:16:38between the government and the private sector.
