00:00:00Syria by the United States. What are
00:00:02students to return to the most important reasons,
00:00:08Iran as well. On this on the ground in your opinion? In my opinion, the matter is related to the policy
00:00:10basis, this file of the United States of America towards the political transition in Syria. I mean, if
00:00:14elements of we observe the relationship between America and Syria, there is a gradual lifting of
00:00:18sanctions. Even the sanctions, or what remained of the
00:00:21economic sanctions, have been removed. But there are still many
00:00:25restrictions imposed on communications,
00:00:28software, and so on. So the United States
00:00:31of America is pursuing
00:00:33and protecting energy lines, a policy of conditional gradualism or conditional
00:00:36relations with Syria. It does not want to give Syria
00:00:39everything at once.
00:00:41that these Therefore, every two months, we find that some of these
00:00:45measures are lifted. Certainly, this
00:00:47the people and caused
00:00:47Syria. I mean, there are many is perhaps related to administrative procedures in the United
00:00:51States of America. But this gradualism, in my opinion, is
00:00:54a conditional issue, or
00:00:58especially since... Has this not conditional relations with Syria. The issue of arming
00:01:05the word itself, this term, Dr. Zaki, do you really
00:01:07procedures and many
00:01:12and not perceives, but has information about this still wants more of think or agree with Dr. Samir or disagree with him that what the United States is doing by lifting sanctions, lifting the classification,
00:01:15and today lifting the issue related to
00:01:18arming Syria, or preventing
00:01:21arming from Syria, all of this is conditional on the
00:01:25United States, and the proof of this is
00:01:28the post he wrote, Joe Wilson, on the X platform?
00:01:32Well,
00:01:36will converting this Professor Ruba, I want to tell you that this is
00:01:38elements that a very important step,
00:01:40are still controlling very important,
00:01:43to do so, be beneficial especially at this time,
00:01:45Likewise, there are developments because if we know what is happening behind the scenes
00:01:49in Washington, we know that the Syrian
00:01:52camp won in Washington
00:01:56by lifting sanctions, lifting classifications, against the camp and the Israeli lobby, I mean, is it possible
00:01:57States of America and of Netanyahu's friends. Netanyahu, who said
00:02:00with his own mouth that he wants chaos in Syria, he wants
00:02:04a divided
00:02:07there is a problem in Syria to preserve the security that he considers the security
00:02:10of Israel. So, of course, Netanyahu's
00:02:14in Syria or for Syrians in relations with Congress, whether it was the House of Representatives, the Senate, the White
00:02:18House, the Pentagon, the State Department,
00:02:22about the issue of foreign
00:02:22from Syria currently, or there from beginning to end, he's a man who's been building relationships for 30 years
00:02:25based on that. Well, the victory, the victory of the Syrian
00:02:28camp and
00:02:38on the ground, do you think that, as Dr. Samir said, it is conditional
00:02:42that can be emulated so that all these lifting
00:02:45of restrictions and all these
00:02:49I mean, based on this measures that have been
00:02:51taken are applied? Yes,
00:02:55in political,
00:02:56to benefit from the lifting military, Turkey is proposing and geopolitical creating a terrorism-free
00:02:59matters, we are talking
00:03:02And the common interest for Syria with about security in the Middle East. I mean, the most
00:03:06is linked, in my opinion, to what is happening important region where wars have not stopped since World War II is the Middle
00:03:10East, and of course, because
00:03:13of Israel. So now there
00:03:16is a strategic shift in the United
00:03:19States' military and political policy towards
00:03:22the Middle East, including not relying entirely
00:03:26on Israel. Two or three years
00:03:30ago, the United States' policy
00:03:35with this file are linked to the developments that are taking place in was in all Syrian areas, don't in the Middle East, any arms deal, anything had to be approved by Israel.
00:03:39This was inevitable, of course,
00:03:41because of the unlimited
00:03:44and unconditional support for Israel
00:03:48and Netanyahu in the House of Representatives, the Senate,
00:03:51and successive American administrations, regardless of
00:03:54who the president is and who
00:03:56to raise this the government is in the White House, they had tremendous support. So now you
00:04:00see that the ban on arms exports has been lifted. Now, it's not
00:04:05is not separate from the Syrian position just arms exports. I mean, Syria wants to buy weapons. You know that
00:04:08America's relations with countries also include military grants.
00:04:12So, the importance of Syria
00:04:15now for the Middle East
00:04:18and for global security, because don't forget
00:04:23Al-Babida, head of the Syria office in what happened to energy
00:04:25always depend on in the last six months. The Americans realized that maritime
00:04:29straits
00:04:35judiciary at
00:04:39as well as fighting terrorism, in those countries. But this does not America and Europe cannot accept Russian military,
00:04:42naval, and air bases.
00:04:46We were talking about this topic, especially about the Hmeimim base
00:04:49part of this and the Syrian the goal of a terrorism-free zone. Foreign Minister's visit
00:04:53to Hmeimim. In any case, Dr.
00:04:58for creating a terrorism-free offers any arms deal, Samir,
00:04:58a country that owns the largest army in Joe Wilson was one of the most prominent defenders of Syria.
00:05:00deal, even the end user And his current criticism of the restrictions that are still
00:05:06And I see that this scrutiny from imposed on goods on the issue of industry. In your opinion,
00:05:08is true, but only is this within American bureaucracy or, as you said, within the conditions? Or
00:05:11how do you interpret the fact that
00:05:15the real impact
00:05:18is not
00:05:20yet clear?
00:05:24As I mentioned at the beginning, the United States of America does not want
00:05:28to give you everything at once. It wants to give you things
00:05:31gradually in exchange for obtaining or achieving
00:05:35the interests of the United States of America in Syria
00:05:37and even in the region. So what are these interests?
00:05:41What are these interests
00:05:42that you are looking for?
00:05:46The issue of Syria's joining the international coalition, the issue of fighting
00:05:49ISIS, the issue of Iranian influence and fighting
00:05:52Iranian influence, the issue of relations with Russia,
00:05:55and even the political developments inside
00:06:00issues that concern the United States of America in
00:06:04Syria. So if it gave you everything at once... But don't you think that
00:06:07Syria has almost implemented 70% of all these
00:06:10items
00:06:12that you mentioned?
00:06:16Yes, it has implemented them, and the United States of America
00:06:21these steps. I mean, if we go back to the past a little,
00:06:25the issue of the relationship with the SDF. I mean, if the United States of America
00:06:28gave the Syrian government everything, perhaps the
00:06:31solution in Syria would have been different, and the solution to the SDF issue, as
00:06:35I mentioned, the issue of fighting terrorism. The United States of America
00:06:39wants to have influence in Syria. I mean,
00:06:42the issue of the Foreign Minister's visit or the relationship with Russia is an issue
00:06:46that the United States of America is certainly aware of.
00:06:49But will the United States of America accept
00:06:53Syria's return to the alliance with Russia?
00:06:57in the region. These developments mean that the United States
00:07:01of America wants to have leverage over all countries
00:07:05in the region, not just over Syria. I mean, let's look at the relationship between the United
00:07:10Saudi Arabia, which is one of its closest allies, as well as with
00:07:13Turkey, as well as with Egypt, which receives
00:07:16annual military aid from America.
00:07:19All of this is always conditional, and this
00:07:23perhaps raises concerns
00:07:27the future that, yes, sanctions have been lifted.
00:07:30Currently, there is no military deal because there is no funding
00:07:35is no talk of direct military aid from the United States.
00:07:39But America, in general, in its policy in the Middle East...
00:07:50on Egypt, which has restricted Egypt since
00:07:531979, the Camp David Accords, and Egypt's
00:07:56receipt of aid, and even now. Yes,
00:08:01analysis or this statement you are making,
00:08:04the issue of the impact on the ground of lifting sanctions and lifting
00:08:08the classification may be delayed for
00:08:09years.
00:08:13Dr. Samir, it needs time, and the matter
00:08:18in the region. I mean, the United States of America does not have
00:08:22complete trust currently in the Syrian government. Therefore,
00:08:26it is moving with them step by step, let's call it, even
00:08:29if it is different from the previous path that was with the Assad regime. They give
00:08:33something and wait for the results. But lifting
00:08:36sanctions completely, or lifting restrictions, I mean,
00:08:39most sanctions have probably been lifted, but the restrictions imposed,
00:08:43in my opinion, need time, and they
00:08:46the region. Well, Dr. Zaki, to what extent is what
00:08:50happened today and the issue of
00:08:54lifting the arms ban
00:08:58on Syria, in addition to all the previous American
00:09:01measures to lift sanctions and remove classifications from Syria,
00:09:05to what extent is it really related to what is happening in the region in general,
00:09:09and are there things required from the Syrian government now
00:09:12to provide so that the actual
00:09:16implementation can begin? Mr. Samir talked
00:09:20about the term "step for step" which was followed previously.
00:09:24I don't want to compare or even mention that era. But do you really
00:09:28think there is something similar, step for step? Do you agree
00:09:31with what Dr. Samir said?
00:09:35No, relations between countries
00:09:38common interests. I mean, America doesn't
00:09:41just go and provide aid to other countries around the world
00:09:44without having interests
00:09:48prevent it from being something very important.
00:09:51What happened is very important, and in my opinion,
00:09:54it is
00:09:57really important for Syria and for America, of course. There are common
00:10:00interests, and the duty of the Syrian government and
00:10:03of Syrians is to find common interests with a great
00:10:07power,
00:10:11the world. This is very important for us, and let's not forget
00:10:15what the Russians did to us
00:10:19in Syria. So this is the second pole, the Russian-Chinese.
00:10:22If we have interests with America or Syria has interests
00:10:26with America, then we cooperate on matters where
00:10:30there is common interest. There is nothing wrong with that. But
00:10:33we also need to celebrate a very important
00:10:37step that has been taken against the policies
00:10:39of the Zionist lobby in Washington,
00:10:42which tried as much as possible not to remove
00:10:45Syria from the list of state sponsors
00:10:48of terrorism. We have been working
00:10:52in Washington for years, and we didn't expect even the economic
00:10:55sanctions to be lifted so quickly
00:10:58within a short period of time, because there is strong opposition
00:11:02even from members of the current
00:11:05American government. So there is pressure,
00:11:09there is tug of war within the American government when it comes
00:11:13to Syria, because there is strong Israeli opposition
00:11:16to any concessions granted to Syria. And
00:11:20this means the issue of weapons. You know
00:11:23that the commander of the Central Command visited Syria several times and has good relations
00:11:26with the President and with His Excellency Minister
00:11:30Al-Shaibani. So these personal relationships always
00:11:33lead to important relationships between countries, as well as
00:11:37cooperation. Cooperation does not come suddenly. I mean, it's not like
00:11:41America will send weapons to Syria
00:11:44overnight. But one of the obstacles has been removed. There were obstacles
00:11:47to cooperation.
00:11:50Syrian
00:11:53forces were previously provided with military aid to the SDF, and now
00:11:56that the merger has taken place and the SDF has ceased to exist, to what extent
00:12:01aid to the Syrian state, and there
00:12:05is a decision
00:12:08for military cooperation between the United States and Syria and arming
00:12:11Syria? And what is Israel's position on this matter,
00:12:15in your opinion? Israel's position is very
00:12:18opposed. Israel's position
00:12:21for it to stand in the way of converting this aid?
00:12:26Now we have taken an important step
00:12:29that cannot be reversed,
00:12:31because the ban has been lifted. So now
00:12:35the second thing that Israel wants to work on is that, as
00:12:38your esteemed guest mentioned, America
00:12:41should not give weapons to Syria now. For
00:12:45example, among the weapons for Syria, they have many
00:12:48stored weapons in Iraq, and they said that they want
00:12:52to withdraw from Iraq and gave a date and all that. These
00:12:55weapons could be given to the Syrian army
00:12:59instead of shipping them back to America,
00:13:02for example. Then,
00:13:06in the future, as relations develop, there
00:13:09could be arms deals for Syria in the form of aid,
00:13:13just as they used to give two billion dollars in aid
00:13:16to Egypt, as the guest said, from 1979 until now.
00:13:19I mean, imagine more than 80 billion dollars in the last
00:13:2340 years went to the Egyptian army.
00:13:26All of this was weapons that the Egyptian
00:13:30people did not have to pay for. Of course, there are common interests
00:13:33between... You know that this matter was conditional.
00:13:37This is correct, it was conditional. I always said that
00:13:41there are common interests. The American government certainly, countries
00:13:44are not charitable organizations. This is agreed upon. Exactly.
00:13:48Exactly. We need, it is our job
00:13:51to find common Syrian-American interests, and I believe
00:13:55the common interests are very great. I mean, now
00:13:58energy, energy and security always go
00:14:01together. Now, with the maritime straits,
00:14:04everyone's minds have opened up to the possibility
00:14:08of a land corridor from the Gulf states
00:14:11to Syria, reaching the Mediterranean
00:14:15and Europe without passing through Bab al-Mandab
00:14:18and without passing through alternatives.
00:14:21Yes, yes. Well, since you mentioned interests, I will go to Dr.
00:14:24Samir. Dr. Samir, specifically on the issue of interests,
00:14:28I mean, in the official decision that came to lift
00:14:31the two restrictions related to the arms embargo
00:14:34on Syria, there was talk that lifting
00:14:38these two restrictions is necessary for the national security
00:14:42interests of the United States.
00:14:45What is beneficial for the United States in lifting
00:14:49these two restrictions? What is the United States thinking
00:14:51about?
00:14:55As Dr. Zaki mentioned, there are American
00:14:58interests in the region related to energy pipelines,
00:15:04as well as curbing Iranian influence. So lifting
00:15:08the ban currently opens the door
00:15:11for providing perhaps some aid, but there will be conditions
00:15:15on the military establishment. I mean, when the United States of America
00:15:20it begins by scrutinizing the funding and the source
00:15:23of funding for this of this weapon.
00:15:27So this requires
00:15:30the United States of America.
00:15:31Specific
00:15:35armament for specific
00:15:38purposes, for specific goals that serve the interests of the United States
00:15:41in Syria.
00:15:45Yes, and first and foremost, if there is an implementation of
00:15:49energy projects, converting energy projects to or through
00:15:52Syria, these weapons will be to protect these
00:15:56lines, as well as to fight ISIS.
00:16:00Yes, I mean, only for protection and fighting ISIS,
00:16:03the matter will not be beyond
00:16:07borders. Fighting ISIS
00:16:11as well as curbing Iranian influence. But the United
00:16:14States of America, and here we touch on the relationship with Israel,
00:16:18will not provide any weapons to Syria that might pose
00:16:21even a 1% threat to Israel. I mean, let's look at arms
00:16:25deals between the United States of America and Turkey
00:16:27and the F-35 deal even with Saudi Arabia, its closest ally.
00:16:31There are very wide conditions set by the United States
00:16:35of America, and even, I mean, it's not just the president, there are institutions.
00:16:39American, I mean, any arms deal or even military
00:16:42aid goes through long
00:16:45bureaucratic approvals in the United States. Therefore,
00:16:49talking about military support or arms deals is
00:16:52premature, but what speeds up this matter is if
00:16:56the United States of America needs, as I said,
00:16:59for the Syrian army or the Syrian military establishment
00:17:03to protect energy routes or energy lines, or if
00:17:07there is a direct threat from
00:17:17ISIS. What are the measures that the Syrian state should take, according
00:17:21to your speech and the points you and my dear guest, Mr. Zaki,
00:17:25mentioned, regarding Syria, the Syrian government,
00:17:28benefiting from what the United States is doing
00:17:34and the measure that also lifted
00:17:37the issue of weapons or the ban on selling
00:17:41weapons to it? In one minute, I mean, in addition
00:17:44to what is related to the political
00:17:47and political transition, Syria needs to
00:17:51complete the building of the military establishment and remove
00:17:54many of the doubts that some countries raise
00:18:00fighters who are present in the Syrian army, as well as
00:18:03the military hierarchy and the hierarchy of the Syrian military establishment.
00:18:14Here, the Syrian administration and Syria can obtain
00:18:18some gains, military aid, and economic aid.
00:18:21Yes, I will ask you the same question, Dr. Zaki. In your opinion, what are the measures
00:18:25and steps that the Syrian state, the Syrian government, should take,
00:18:29as Dr. Samir mentioned, and in addition to what he said,
00:18:34of this ban on sales?
00:18:39the United States of America is first
00:18:42to block the road to Iran from Iran through
00:18:46Iraq, Syria, to the Mediterranean. This road is cut.
00:18:49Iran has left Syria never to return. The second thing
00:18:53is that President Trump said, I don't want to speculate
00:18:57or analyze. He said, we believe
00:18:59that the Syrian government can play a major
00:19:03role in curbing Hezbollah's role in Lebanon. Hezbollah
00:19:07did not just leave Syria. It
00:19:10forget that. But the President said that we believe
00:19:14that it can play a better role than Israel even in
00:19:17curbing Hezbollah's role in Lebanon. These are not
00:19:21speculations or analyses. This is from the American President.
00:19:24So I think it's very important, I mean, you know that America
00:19:28has now started a full war because of the disputes with
00:19:31Iran. So this matter is very important, and the Syrian
00:19:35state and all Syrians as a people are against
00:19:37Iran 100% because of what they did in Syria and to Syrians,
00:19:41and against Hezbollah because of what they did in Syria and to Syrians. This is a big
00:19:44common interest, regardless of Russian bases
00:19:47and not giving China the opportunity to enter
00:19:51the region through a wide door, and the American
00:19:54military, political, and economic presence in the region. Thank
00:19:58you very much to both of you, Dr. Zaki
00:20:01the Syrian-American Council, who was with us from Arizona, and Dr. Samir Al-Abdallah,
00:20:04senior researcher at the Arab Center
00:20:08for Contemporary Syria Studies, who was with us from
00:20:10Damascus.
00:20:13After the break, we will return to discuss Turkey's
00:20:15plan to establish a quadrilateral security mechanism
00:20:19including Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Turkey to achieve
00:20:34I see a plan for the reconstruction of Syria. And the streets are being
00:20:38paved and electricity will return 24/7.
00:20:45on paper. Syria will return stronger than before, and the economy is
00:20:49recovering. For
00:20:52schools, a bright future as
00:20:55I see you. Very bright. Come see the darkness
00:20:59here. Half of the ninth-grade students failed. No, but I
00:21:02see a glimmer of hope, and people are planting and resisting
00:21:05and laughing. I mean, there is hope. We are the generation
00:21:08of change. What change? What are we going to change if there is no electricity
00:21:12and water? Wait, wait. I see national reconciliation
00:21:16and new understandings with neighboring countries. I see...
00:21:29Well, I am Ward, and wait for me in the program
00:21:33"Take and Give" on Syria TV. And wait for the second one.
00:21:49Syrians spread across
00:21:51the earth. They succeeded,
00:21:54excelled, and proved their
00:21:57existence despite
00:22:02the difficulties. Between their success stories and decisions that shape
00:22:06their destiny
00:22:12in their diaspora. The diaspora, stories
00:22:16and decisions that shape the scene discusses its details
00:22:20to make the picture complete. The diaspora on Syria TV.
00:23:10Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Ciftci announced
00:23:13that his country is considering establishing a quadrilateral security mechanism
00:23:17including Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. This is aimed
00:23:20at achieving a terrorism-free zone,
00:23:23noting that Ankara already has
00:23:25bilateral and trilateral mechanisms with
00:23:29countries in the region
00:23:32in this regard.
00:23:36New moves in the Turkish capital, Ankara, to discuss the establishment
00:23:40of a regional security mechanism aimed at
00:23:45zone. This was announced by Turkish Interior Minister
00:23:48Mustafa Ciftci. He said that the mechanism being
00:23:51studied includes Syria, Turkey, Iraq,
00:23:54and Iran. The Turkish Minister links the possibility
00:23:58of this mechanism's success to the process of integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces
00:24:02into Syrian state institutions, which gives the region an opportunity
00:24:06to build this joint security model, while at the same
00:24:09time expressing concerns about the possibility of elements
00:24:13refusing integration moving to Iraq and Iran and seeking
00:24:16to gain power, which could pose a threat to
00:24:29his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momani, who expressed a positive stance during
00:24:32their last meeting in Ankara, adding that he will present
00:24:36the mechanism to his counterparts in the concerned countries in the coming
00:24:39days.
00:24:41In parallel with this security proposal, the issue of the nature
00:24:45of the relationship that can arise between Damascus
00:24:48and Tehran after the fall of the former regime returns to the fore.
00:24:51However, rebuilding this relationship
00:24:55on Iran's role during the revolution, given the confirmation
00:24:58by Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani during his visit to
00:25:01Pakistan that recognizing what Iran committed against
00:25:05Syrians represents a fundamental condition for opening a new
00:25:08page between the two countries.
00:25:11Iranian recognition of what it caused and corrupted in Syria
00:25:15may be discussed in the future, and if Pakistan is one of
00:25:18the parties, we certainly welcome
00:25:21and discuss this topic with Dr. Ahmed Tuma, academic and politician
00:25:24from Damascus. Welcome, and Dr. Samir Salha, academic specializing
00:25:28in Turkish affairs from Istanbul. Welcome to you too. I will start
00:25:32with you, Dr. Ahmed. To what extent can
00:25:36Syria be
00:25:39proposal made by the Turkish Interior Minister
00:25:43concerning the joint coordination mechanism
00:25:48zone, and including Iran? I mean, this mechanism,
00:25:52undoubtedly,
00:25:56my dear sister,
00:25:58is facing
00:26:00a danger. The national security of Syria
00:26:04is threatened, and so are Turkey,
00:26:07Iraq, and perhaps
00:26:12must be resolved, especially since there are
00:26:17the PKK that refuse integration into Syria.
00:26:20And there is a strong possibility that if pressure on them increases, they
00:26:24may move towards Iraq and Iran, and perhaps
00:26:28to Turkey. This poses a threat to the entire
00:26:31region. From this perspective, it was
00:26:34necessary for Turkey to work with
00:26:38its neighbors to find a radical solution to this
00:26:41issue. There is no way
00:26:44fighters who caused terror among
00:26:49unrest and led to the instability of
00:26:53the entire region can
00:26:55be allowed. All of this must be resolved,
00:27:00solved this?
00:27:11Does this mean that Turkey still perceives,
00:27:14danger? And I return to the same point, a mechanism like this
00:27:18that includes Iran, how will Syria be part of such a
00:27:22mechanism?
00:27:25In what way, by what method? It is certain that many
00:27:27of the elements, yes, it is certain that many of the Syrian
00:27:31elements in the SDF genuinely desire
00:27:34integration, but what hinders these matters
00:27:38is the presence of PKK
00:27:42the decision and are trying to thwart it. Therefore,
00:27:46Syrians, more than others, realize these dangers.
00:27:49So if these dangers are combined with Turkish
00:27:53dangers, and Iraqi dangers, and Iranian dangers, then
00:27:57we can move towards forming
00:27:59an alliance that can achieve the desired
00:28:02outcome and reassure the region and strive for its stability.
00:28:05But as the Foreign Minister mentioned,
00:28:09dealing positively with the Iranians
00:28:13as long as they have not admitted their guilt and have
00:28:15not apologized to the Syrian people. So how can we form such an alliance
00:28:19with them? And perhaps, as we found previously,
00:28:22they used to host elements that could
00:28:26move from Iran towards Iraq and towards Turkey and towards
00:28:29Syria to cause unrest and problems. What I want
00:28:33to get at is that such dangerous issues must
00:28:37be resolved. How can this be resolved? We will talk
00:28:41about solutions internally, we will talk about solutions because we
00:28:45also want, through forming alliances,
00:28:48yes, we want to elaborate on these solutions
00:28:50and possibilities.
00:28:54I will go to Mr. Samir. Dr. Samir,
00:28:59this matter and this mechanism, and says that it has
00:29:02similar mechanisms in other countries. To what extent
00:29:06can this mechanism be applied on the ground? What is Turkey
00:29:10basing it on? And to what extent does it really perceive the danger of the Kurdistan
00:29:14Workers' Party in the countries with which it wishes to establish this
00:29:18mechanism?
00:29:20That's right, that's right. Good evening to everyone. First, about the last
00:29:23point, Ruba, if you were asking whether this
00:29:27mechanism, if arranged within
00:29:30a framework of joint political and security coordination,
00:29:34will succeed in dealing
00:29:38in a short period of time. In my opinion,
00:29:41the matter is not easy. It requires indeed
00:29:44security coordination, intelligence coordination, broad
00:29:48cooperation, and sincere intentions in dealing
00:29:52with this file. Now, how did
00:29:55we reach this point? I mean, what prompted the Turkish Interior Minister
00:29:59issue
00:30:01so directly this time? This is also an important issue.
00:30:05because the issue is related to the internal path in Turkey as
00:30:08you also follow since
00:30:11we discussed in a new way a new
00:30:14way of dealing with the file of the Workers' Party with the Kurdish file
00:30:18as a whole in Turkey and the latest achievements
00:30:20were in August last year under the roof of
00:30:23the parliament, a bill was approved, opening
00:30:27the way, yes, for the departure of members of these
00:30:30groups in the Workers' Party themselves to the security
00:30:34agencies and to the Turkish
00:30:37the internal level in Syria also in a similar
00:30:40movement with the issue of Qassl, and this movement in
00:30:44Turkey and Syria, a large part of it is taking place in
00:30:48the framework of bilateral coordination also between Ankara and
00:30:51Damascus. Now, the Iraqi player is also
00:30:55present in one way or another on the line of
00:30:58this.
