00:01:06during a trilateral summit in Mecca. The deal commits the three
00:01:10countries to closer military cooperation and includes collective
00:01:14defense clause under which attack on one
00:01:17of would be considered attack on all. Asley atbas begins our
00:01:21coverage. When
00:01:24President Recep Typ Erdoğan arrived in Jidda on Friday,
00:01:28expectations were high at The trilateral summit with Saudi Cram
00:01:32Prince Muhammad bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbas
00:01:36Sharif would deliver major breakthrough.
00:01:40Those expectations were quickly met. The three leaders
00:01:44signed what they called the Mecca
00:01:45a Joint Defense agreement. A landmark
00:01:48of pact aimed at deepening military cooperation and strengthening
00:01:51collective security between their countries. The
00:01:55agreement is built on the three countries longstanding historical
00:01:59ties. damic solidarity and shared strategic
00:02:02interests. its most significant provision is a collective
00:02:06defense commitment, stating that an armed attack against any one
00:02:10of the three nations will be regarded as
00:02:12of an attack against them all. it also pledges to deepen defense
00:02:16cooperation across all sectors while strengthening collective
00:02:20deterrance with leaders saying the partnership is aimed at
00:02:23of promoting regional peace, stability and security. the
00:02:27summit comes as all three countries seek to... spend strategic
00:02:30cooperation, emit growing regional uncertainty.
00:02:34Turkey has been actively involved in diplomatic efforts over
00:02:37Gaza, while Pakistan has played a role in mediation between the
00:02:41US and Iran in recent tensions. Saudi Arabia
00:02:45meanwhile continues to position itself as key regional
00:02:49diplomatic actor. The new
00:02:51of trilateral framework also builds on growing defense tires between Riyad and
00:02:55Islamabad. Following their strategic mutual defense
00:02:59agreement. last year, the situation is
00:03:03so fragile, therefore the Pakistan, Saudi
00:03:06Arabia and the turkey
00:03:10just came together just to keep the
00:03:14of statico in the region at least in my opinion, and they
00:03:18just signed this agreement in Mecca,
00:03:21Mecca is the holiest site in Islam, and this also
00:03:25added have to pact

00:03:33Officials say the agreement marks a significant step in
00:03:36institutionalizing security cooperation between the three
00:03:39a regional powers with the new framework expected to pave the way for

00:04:20Turkey will resolutely maintain its principal stance on
00:04:23resolving conflicts and crisis through dialogue and diplomacy based
00:04:27on respect for international law.
00:04:31TRTW's diplomatic correspondent Hassan Abdullah has more now
00:04:35a on the deal from the Turkish capital. All sides are
00:04:39saying that given the timing in particular, this is very significant.
00:04:42There is the assessment that perhaps there could be escalation in this
00:04:46region, and this is why number one, all sides feel the need
00:04:50to take immediate steps to try to contain the
00:04:54situation. And secondly, given the situation,
00:04:57particularly with Iran, Saudi. Arabia of course has this threat
00:05:01perception where it feels that it has to have strong
00:05:05deterrents in place.
00:05:06a Now obviously the three sides have been careful to point out
00:05:10that this is not against any particular country and... all friendly countries are
00:05:14welcome to join this mechanism, but behind the scenes we
00:05:18know the concerns that are there in Saudi Arabia with visavy Iran
00:05:21as well as its proxies, particularly the fact that it has been
00:05:25attacked from Yemen and from Iraq, so it
00:05:29is significant, Turkey has been talking about Israel playing the role as a
00:05:33regional destabilizer, so from Turkish perspective again
00:05:37there is the importance of creating greater deterrents, and
00:05:41then of course there's talk about the need to have new
00:05:45security architecture in the middle east, because especially after the US
00:05:49Israely attacks on Iran and the
00:05:52attacks by Iran on GCC countries, there was this view
00:05:56that perhaps the US has not been able to
00:06:00offer security guarantees as was expected by countries like
00:06:03Qatar and Saudi Arabia, so I think what they really trying to do is they're trying to
00:06:07diversify their options and uh they're trying not
00:06:11to place all their eggs in the same
00:06:13basket.
00:06:21Iran's president says his country is prepared to seek dialogue for
00:06:25the sake of national interests, but won't accept demands that
00:06:28undermine its sovereignty or defensive capabilities. Speaking to
00:06:32state media, he's also said Tehran has managed to defeat its
00:06:36opponents efforts to stabilize the
00:06:38nation. We did not.
00:07:12stronger and more powerful by the grace of
00:07:15God. All the United States has insisted that
00:07:19negotiations are happening with Iran, Tehran has denied any
00:07:23talks are taking place. Instead, the focus has been a deal

00:10:07seen. The UN Security Council has expressed
00:10:11concern. over the ongoing escalation in Yemen and has
00:10:15called on parties to avoid action that could threaten

00:10:26Marib killed at least two civilians, that's according to the country's health
00:10:29ministry. It came day after the Houtis launched a wave of

00:10:45of Yemen, including the capital Sanaah, say the Saudis are preparing

00:10:57a protests have taken place in Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires,

00:13:38government because the genocide in Gaza, so
00:13:42and he he said he will open Columbia's embassy in
00:13:46Israel in Jerusalem, so he's really aligning himself with the
00:13:50Trump administration and also on the narcotic
00:13:53side ' promising he will bring back
00:13:57eradication flights with that spray the illegal coca
00:14:01crops in Colombia. United States officials have been asking
00:14:05that for that for many years, but Colombia actually canceled those types
00:14:09of eradication flights about decade ago because of

00:22:55nice hotel room, another influencer got asked point blank if she was going to do a
00:22:59get ready with me but for touring data center and so much more. one the
00:23:02influencers reportedly deleted her video about the trip entirely but kept other
00:23:06videos up that just don't mention open AI at all, which to me seems like
00:23:10damage control in real time, which means they know the severity the issue. and
00:23:14remember the b habitat visits, one of which happened on this brand trip, the
00:23:18high level of electromagnetic frequency. emitted by data centers are
00:23:21killing off the bees, bees that rely on magnetic fields to
00:23:25navigate and you know pollinate something essential kind
00:23:29of for life. here's why the timing of this made it so much worse. open
00:23:33AI is in the middle of closing a $500 billion dollar deal to build a
00:23:37massive data center in Ohio, right as the conversation around AI's environmental and energy
00:23:40impact is at an all-time high. this was intentional choice. they had the budget in their
00:23:44pick of luxury hotels to host this, but they chose here, a place known
00:23:48for its ties to nature. But it's not a surprising move for
00:23:52Open AI to host luxury brand trips. In March, the company
00:23:56hired Charles Porch as its first vice president of Global Creative
00:24:00Partnerships. Port spent 15 years at Meta and
00:24:03Instagram, acting as a bridge between the platforms and the creative
00:24:07community. At Open AI, he is responsible for working with
00:24:10creators to help build products that better serve people.

00:24:18influencers. Data centers are being built around the

00:25:20centers could consume 276 billion
00:25:24liters of water each and every year, that's
00:25:28putting extra pressure on areas already hit by severe
00:25:32drought. most sites also rely on gas fired
