00:06:06the attacks by Iran on GCC countries, there was
00:06:10this view that perhaps the... US has not been able
00:06:14to offer security guarantees as was expected by
00:06:17countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia, so I think what they're really trying to
00:06:21do is they're trying to diversify their options and they're trying
00:06:25not to place all their eggs in the same
00:06:43that this is defensive agreement rather than new military block, but
00:06:47even so how will it be viewed by regional powers like of course

00:08:11dialogue with Tehran, so can these countries realistically
00:08:14balance diplomacy with Iran while also entering
00:08:18a collective defense agreement,
00:08:22diplomacy is the art of balancing the improbable,
00:08:26at the same time Pakistan is a rather unique position because it has
00:08:30good relations with China, a super power hedgemon in the world
