00:01:31of the latest dispute is the FCT minister Yason Wiki's proposed

00:01:37a crossparty platform he says is designed to mobilize support for
00:01:41in President Tinubu's reelection but APC governors under the progressive
00:01:45governors forum have drawn the line between supporting the
00:01:48president and supporting a political arrangement
00:01:51that would affect the fortunes of APC candidates
00:01:54the forum chaired by state governor hopusima says its members will
00:01:58support Tinubo as well as candidates officially sponsored by the
00:02:01APC. Wike however
00:02:04of maintains that his coalition is
00:02:06of separate from the APC, says he never promised that other parties,
00:02:09including the PDP would not field candidates in the 2027
00:02:13elections. The disagreement has now raised
00:02:16of questions about party loyalty, campaign structures and how the different political

00:03:17of states, so I think they are not lazy, and

00:03:24of of the the preparations for the 2027 election, maybe he

00:04:53governors will not be too bother because Wiki wants to support the
00:04:56of president and our
00:05:02of of governors, PC also supported the president, so he both are supporting the president, it
00:05:06gives us victory, and that is the most important position for us,
00:05:10as for other positions like this. state governors
00:05:13and
00:05:15co we at home because river state is be
00:05:19run under APC, the governorship, the
00:05:23rainbow coalition of week is supported an APC
00:05:25candidate uh uh which is the former
00:05:29minority leader in PDP member before, he was the PDP member
00:05:33yes, but now it's in APC, we can supporting with
00:05:36the rainbow coalition that he has formed rivers, it's
00:05:40convenient for him to have. book of relation reverse

00:06:32it, and so if there is that convergence, why is it very so difficult to at

00:06:39to accept that rable coalition and say let's see how we can negotiate.

00:06:45said, there's no
00:06:48doubt or disagreement on what we wants to

00:07:51us on the presidential
00:07:54election, we are we are home and
00:07:57dry, we have 32 other governors

00:08:04i'm very sure they will deliver their respective state, at
00:08:07least 80% of those governors will deliver their respective
00:08:10state. and if that happens
00:08:14with wik FCT and rivers coming to
00:08:18us, we all right, so I think the governors don't need to bother too
00:08:22much because interesting honorable that you just mentioned that 80% the
00:08:26governors will deliver their respective state, which means that you do not have faith that all the
00:08:30governors that you have would deliver their respective states, just a
00:08:33minute honorable, some people have said beyond the opposition, one the
00:08:37reasons that your governors might not be able to deliver that state might be weak because
00:08:41beyond river state. it is und understood that he has influenced some other
00:08:44states, he's now as we know now having a coalition with some other you
00:08:48know storts in some states to ensure that PDP candidates emerge in
00:08:52those states. yes, I know that uh we have a bit of solar state in

00:10:13disagreement within the party, maybe somebody
00:10:16APC, I mean we can supported outside APC, we
00:10:20house of senate, that's not the
00:10:23possibility, but in other states
00:10:26largely, i believe that
00:10:29APC will win massively in
00:10:33other states to give APC majority in the house of
00:10:37rep, in the senate and the various house of assembly,
00:10:41but for the presidency we are rest assured, and that's
00:10:45what the the challenge is really, because some have said, look, if you do not have any sort of
00:10:49agreement, what you might have is to have perhaps re-election the president, but without a
00:10:53national assembly that he can work with. "I think that the
00:10:57president will get national assembly that he will be able to work with, even if
00:11:00we can work very hard, even if we wiki
00:11:04work very hard, the national assembly that
00:11:08the president will work with will be the hands of APC, and I can
00:11:12tell you for free that even the river say

00:12:10our governors are working extremely hard to deliver
00:12:14they may lose one or two dc to PDP but we

00:12:21candidates are not strong enough.

00:13:49pdp that wik control is
00:13:52seriously weakened. Yes, it may have one or two
00:13:56bright sports, but on overall it does not have the
00:14:00capacity to be on offensive

00:15:01rainbow coalition, even if it's more vote that we can
00:15:05contribute in the other states, yes it's good for
00:15:08us, it's good for us,
00:15:10so so I will come to that point because the very interesting point
00:15:12we should not create cakofody about the governors accepting a
00:15:16couple of questions we want to ask from that, but we take a break now when we return

00:16:10really, I want to say in the eye the storm because it looks, it looks like a storm, but maybe a
00:16:14tick up, maybe not so much of it stom, but I wanted to ask what this means for him,
00:16:18considering you what happened in Riversate where an APC
00:16:22and a comment governor who defected to the APC didn't didn't get back on the
00:16:26ballot, and people are saying look how the president decides to
00:16:29handle this, will send
00:16:32um message,
00:16:32a strong message to members the APC, and that could whether mean
00:16:36whether he... support he would get or not? well,
00:16:40i think the president don't really need to disturb his mind
00:16:44to much of this. if if i
00:16:47was advisor to mr president, i would say,
00:16:51mr. president, don't bother yourself too much about what is happening
00:16:54now, uh, it's a political
00:16:57storm, but not a big one, it's a time that comes
00:17:01and blows away, and the fact is that the man
00:17:05at the center of it wiki. we have his best
00:17:09part, he is
00:17:12rusolut, he has resolved to give his vote to us, in the
00:17:15most important area where it matters, where he has the
00:17:19strongest political threat, yes i agreed has
00:17:23support across a lot of states in federation, but they are just
00:17:26pockets of support, they are not enough
00:17:30enough to create a politic for mr
00:17:33president, so we have
00:17:36to be reversed. where his political
00:17:39machinery are all almost all in
00:17:42pdp shidas
00:17:45candidate of APC river state
00:17:49is a 100% weekak man and
00:17:53wick rather than other PDP has

00:19:07federation is not strong enough to create an upset for
00:19:11APC, so we should not make too much fuse about it, not
00:19:15forget that wiki is a man of very strong

00:21:00importantly on the ballot where Mr. President day will
00:21:04be on that ballot, of course
00:21:08president is working very hard on it, and Wike is not going to
00:21:12cause any disturbance or a problem for us on that
00:21:15ballot and for the areas he has
00:21:19promised to... deliver, but like I said, Wike has
00:21:23pocket of support every almost around the
00:21:25federation here and there, but those
00:21:29supports are not big enough to create a problem for
00:21:33Mr. President, so I think all Mr. President need to do, work with
00:21:37your governors to win as they have
00:21:40been working, work with Wiki to win the areas, you
00:21:44don't has compoperative advantage, but in
00:21:48reality if we were to look at. more honestly, yes, does it not just look like
00:21:52a battle of different hopes of influence who basically
00:21:56are looking for to take the credit for um the success you
00:22:00know in 2027 election and be able to use that as some
00:22:04leverage to negotiate with the president for any form of appointment,
00:22:08well you can't run away from that in politis, you cannot run
00:22:12away from it, and mr. president in politics is an
00:22:16expert, he understands that if for instance woke promise to
00:22:20give us reversity and he does
00:22:22it in the grand style, of course, Mr. President, we applaud
00:22:26him, we clap for him, and we, the APC
00:22:30members will be happy that he give it to us, because
00:22:34those two says are very difficult for us to
00:22:37win, and if we gives that to us, we are happy with
00:22:41him, if other governors of course, give their
00:22:45state to us, work hard and give their state
00:22:49to us. 'if they don't want a
