If the situation has escalated, why hasn't Mast been pressured to call it up? Or if members truly believe hostilities must end, why no discharge petition? The OpenFEC data adds a parallel track: $749,383 from WINSENATE opposing Michael Whatley (R-NC) in a Senate race; $398,250 from NORTHWOODS FUTURE PAC supporting Michael Alfonso (R-WI House); $200,000 from NORTH STAR DAWN PAC opposing Margaret Flanagan (DFL-MN Senate). None of these directly touch Iran votes, but the $2.06M in independent expenditures over 30 days shows outside money is flowing in competitive races. If Iran hostilities become a voting issue, the IE pressure will follow. For now, the gap is between anti-war floor speeches and the absence of recorded votes. The market can't price what doesn't trade—no active Kalshi markets on Iran legislation were in today's input—but the implicit probability of passage is near zero without Mast action, regardless of what sponsors say on cable.
